Dutch fries are so good when drunk, then you just stumble upon febo and insert the coins
Next try: frietje zuurvlees, fries with some beefstew over it. Its a typically regional dish from Limburg, one of the provinces, but the taste is worldclass. Savoury and sweet at the same time. Often the fries-place make the stew themselves, sometimes even by the original recipe with horsemeat, vinegar, gingerbread and spices.
I know this and it's the BEST!!

Those the good ‘kroketten’! With real beef stew instead of the processed cubes of beef type meat you get 9/10 times nowadays.

honestly don't even think its the question of what fries are better but a question of which city you vibe with more. the dutch got that verse friet/junkfood game on lockdown (funny thing is fresh fries only got done pre 2000's by bram ladage) but what do i know i only been a line cook for almost 20 years.

Born and lived in Rotterdam until I was 24.
Then lived in Amsterdam for 3 years and next to Amsterdam for another 20 years.
It has now been 10 years in The Hague.
So I think I have the experience to say what the nicest city is and why.
I realy think it is The Hague.

The only thing about fries here in the Netherlands ive always hated is the shitload of sauce on top of the fries. And its always the good quality fries that are served that way. The sauce should be seperate, unless its stew or loaded fries of any kind.

Bram ladage 100procent , staple in Rotterdam with at least over a dozen shops with all the same quality and fresh cut at site fries . Sorry but can’t beat that .
David the fries look amazing and I love fries. It's what I would call one of my comfort food. However, I'm gonna have to stick to my traditional fries and ketsup. Those toppings I would be willing to try though.

I think that belgian in amsterdam only use fresh potatoes. In Rotterdam both are using fresh potatoes. At Bram ladage you can see how they cut them. Rotterdam got the W.

also i have to mention if you go to the Huishoudbeurs in Amsterdam Rai, you pay 11 euros for a bag of fries, and you get vegan mayo, yhe fries are good but the sauce.... Gets me the shiffers 😖😖.
