This sounds so fun! I just started knitting again (haven't since high school). I will probably be making a lot of hats, scarves, and cup cozies (things I am going to be working on for gifts). September through November is snow starting where I live so it might be warmer things as well. Definitely all the warm and cozy feels. Fall itself doesn't last long this far north.
@@jacqueismaking Thank you. I grew up in WI so I also love hearing about the things of my childhood home on your channel (such as colors and yarns you mentioned here).
Sooo excited for this!! I’ve had the Natures Cardigan by Ozetta in my queue for quite a bit and I think it would be perfect for this KAL ☺️ I love being outside in the cooler weather and having a handknit wool jacket just sounds SO cozy and fun!
Great KAL idea! My LYS recently started carrying Evergreen Fiber Works and they really do have great fall colors. I have some Fall and Halloween socks in my queue that would fit with this nicely. I’m also planning to make a Sorrel to wear for Thanksgiving - fuzzy sweaters are definitely cozy.
Lovely video, and thank you for sharing our yarns with your audience. 🥰 I (Valerie) am planning to join in and knit a Musselburgh hat for my husband in our Spruce DK base in the colorways Kingfisher and Seaworthy. I'm not playing for prizes, just here for the community! ❤
Loved your video! Fall is my favorite season not only because I am a knitter and crocheter ! Currently I’m working on the butterfly shawl. Fantastic pattern and a lovely way to showcase all the beautiful fingering weight yarn! I love making socks but hate hiding these beautiful yarns in shoes ! 😂
im just in shock after all these years online and with all the amazing yt channels of crochet and knitting options and the most breath taking of designs made right before our eyes abroad, yet no one has that many Autumn colors and Autumn seasonal patterns for either crochet and knitting. Then i thought ok well if not autumn patterns at least the colors in regular patterns .... but nope .... so to start seeing some Autumn colors on here is a relief and i so hope to see far more color options for the Autumn seasons.
Jacque!! what a beautiful pattern round up! You are making me want to add those pumpkins to my house!! #fallfeelsKAL has me so excited. Beautiful video!🍂
This is very exciting! Fun video thanks for sharing. I really love the vest you shared. I plan to make a Korshavn cardigan in a lovely caramel brown wool.
So excited to join along in this KAL! I finally live somewhere with seasons so I can actually wear the sweaters I make so I’m so ready for all the fall vibes and sweater weather! 🍂🍁🧶
I'm definitely going to be participating in this. I don't always follow patterns and what I'm making now is just from my imagination. I have a granny square blanket that I'll be giving for an autumnal birthday, a sweater striped in autumnal colors with granny square stars accenting the bottom, and I want to cast on a simple tube scarf. I need something that requires almost no thinking after I have major surgery. Hopefully I can get all three done during this knitalong.
Not sure if I can join the KAL, but the Leaflette Shawl is beautiful! Isn’t Stephen West just the best? I love most of his designs and think he is an excellent instructor!
@@jacqueismaking I also don't do IG and would love to join! I bought the Leaflette pattern and ordered yarn from Justyna. Thanks for turning me on to this gorgeous pattern and allowing us to join the KAL from here!
@@melissapatrick6888 you as well can! You are also able to message me on ravelry or by email, both in my description. I cannot WAIT to see your leaflette 😊😊😊
I have yarn for 2 pairs of socks that will work. Can we use wips? I started a Sophie shawl last year in WVU colors because that’s my husband’s Alma mater and the football we watch the most. I also want to knit the Eva cardigan, because fall feels like cardigan weather to me. But the yarn is gray.
So excited! I‘ll definitely join the KAL and I’m so glad to have found an alternative for the dress I wanted to make, the two colourwork knits in the intro look stunning!
Really? I just saw the two that instantly catched my eye😂 The first one I’m interested in is the sweater with cats and the second one looks like a halloweeny-doodle situation, maybe a scarf? I’m so sorry for the weird description, but both are at 0:20
I loved your picks for this video! Thanks for the wonderful fall inspiration! 🍁
Thank you so much, I had a lot of fun curating it 🍁🍂🤎

A truly magical experience!

Right?! I think we both need the pumpkins my friend 🎃
Love love LOVE!!! Cant wait to cast on a new sweater and embrace all the magical fall vibes and colors 🥰. Plus that evergreen yarn 😍😍😍
Cannot wait to see what you make Sarah 🫶🏼🫶🏼🍂🍁
Oh my gosshhhh, the brandy old fashioned yarn! I'm a Wisconsin girl, I love it 🙃
Isn’t it so good?!!!
If you like Stephen West you will LOVE Kaffe Fassett. He revolutionized color knitting before Stephen was born.
I know I love Kaffe Fassett fabric so I’ll have to look up knits!
Going to use the Old Fashioned yarn for sure, from Wisconsin and my favorite cocktail. Thanks for your ideas 👍🏻👍🏻
Excited to match you 🍁
Heck yes!!! I'm going to make an Arachne pullover and it's perfect fall feels!!!
That is PERFECT for this 🤌🏼
I have the yarn for it but man those tweeds

So glad you’ll be joining 🧡 Korshavn is soooo gorgeous, I’ve loved the two @akanoraknits has made!
I think Sarah Schira's knitted gnomes could be knit up in some autumnal colours for some very cute decorations.
Oh that would be SO cute!

I really like the Campus Vest. 🧶I love wearing burnt orange during the Fall. The quilt behind you looks amazing!
Same to both, and thank you so much! I am proud of that one 😊
