As a lover of all shades blue and green, I love both shades of teal. On camera, I think there was enough contrast between the teal and navy in your swatch. I would be tempted to use the lighter and darker teal AND the navy. 😂

I found I always got holes doing increases where you pick up the bar between stitches so instead what I do is pick up the purl bump from the stitch below and zero holes.

I also struggle with artist perfection (and the same make one issue). Loveeeee the yarn you are using for the vanilla socks.

Have you ever knit with wool from the Doulton Flock? All their sheep are allowed to live to the end of their natural lives. I’m planning to make a huge purchase because of that and would love to know about the yarn from your perspective.

I use sheep skins in many areas. Right now I have one on my kitchen bench at the table as a type of pad. I also have one at each side of our bed, as winter begins it keeps our feet warm. Also, the nice thing about them is that you can just throw them in the washing machine and lay them out to dry should they get dirty. Of course they will lose of their sheepy smell should you do that.

Have a great weekend! that sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see what you purchase. My aunt used to make sheep skin mittens and slippers. As a child I had many pairs of both. They did keep the sheepy smell and held up great. I miss having them. I not sure about the sheep skin rugs but I would think they would be similar in durability and keeping the smell.

hello friend! Love to see you again :) I just had a lightbulb moment that for the gaps on the m1r and m1l I would highly recommend to check lifted increases! I made them for the Alder sweater (that´s where I learned them and for sure there is a tutorial for lefties in youtube) and they are SO GOOD. Just if you want to try something different in another future project 😃 but I agree, go with the signature look!

I’m anxiously awaiting the release of the California Sweater! I have fingering from Skein Cocaine and mohair from Isager that I want to use. Do you mind sharing how many skeins of fingering you used for your size? My fingers are crossed that approximately 850 yards will be enough 😊

H, with all Indy dyed yarn, must always use the 2 skeins and incorporate by knitting every alternating row (not alternating skein), using the helix knitting method.

I watch Taksknits here on TH-cam and make two knitting podcasts my self - one in Danish and one in English . I also listen to a lot of audio podcasts like “Nobody should believe me” “Scamfluenceres” and “Sounds like a Cult” - read a lot when I was younger, now I do not have the time ❤

I'm currently knitting the zipper sweater (aran weight) in a very similar color! The ribbing probably takes even longer with the Romeldale! BUT i promise you its worth it! its soooo beautiful and squishy and amazing. Also, I've been opting to use alpaca lace recently, instead of a mohair for patterns that call for a lace weight. I'm not sure if that's an option, but I thought of this when you were saying you were worried about losing the squishiness of the alpaca in the cardigan! :)

Always love seeing your progress. Personally, I find the before/after images quite fascinating, however, that is not an expectation I have for any knitting podcast. Everyone does their own thing and that is what makes them all so wonderful. Your personality and excitement over your knits are so endearing. Keep doing you!!! :0)

Okay.. I started Hysteria last night after I watched this episode and I'm HOOKED! I love most podcasts by Wondery! Also- you've totally convinced me that I need to knit that sweater! LOVE!

Gilmore girls is something I watch on repeat in the fall. I also love the good witch tv series. I also like watching ghost whisperer.

Oh… did I miss the picture of the musslebourogh (sp?) hat with the brim colors? You mentioned it, but I didn’t catch it.

I also love the Gilmore girls. I re-watched it with my daughter while knitting and crotcheting. Now we are watching Downton abbey. 🙂
