Love the ‘Show and Tell’ - as always!!! You never cease to have new fun and exciting things to share with us!!! The belly bands were a fabulous to alter bookmark digitals (lock that in my memory bank) and the waterfall altered envelope is fabulous... and now on my ‘To Try’ list!!! Sounds like Jimmy Joe is quickly getting used to his new home and family (which I thought he would). I love that hubby gets up to him through the night. Bless him!!! Some things I did to keep dog from chewing up the furniture.
Went to thrift shops and got some old shoes, boiled up some beef bones (I got soup out of it) and dental raw hide strips from the Vet. He was too busy to chew on the furniture.
A spray bottle of water worked wonders too. Everytime my rascal tried to chew on furniture, he got a face ful of water he did not like, learned new behavior, don't chew on the furniture!
I hope you do another video of Jimmy, now that he’s more used to being in the house.. he might sit better for the camera. So glad there’s no growing pains with the new puppy in the house. It’s nice when the adjustment is smoother. I was really hoping to win the journal you gave away for your Patrons. Now I’m really hoping to be able to get in on the early Etsy info you will do. I just MUST have a Gayle journal and my “want monster” is less okay with waiting now. 😂 These quilted ones are really beautiful. So much fun to watch you my friend. Sending hugs. 😘💜💜

Hello Gayle! I didn't get to watch you this morning so I am watching it now this evening. We were doing all of our running today. The quilted cover is gorgeous. The Jimmy Joe stories are wonderful. Makes me giggle.. Thank you for another fantabulous video. Hugs to you..😘❤
Gotta love puppy training!!! For all 4 dogs that we had,hubby slept with them in the livingroom and took them out to potty in the middle of the night....the crate training is the best you could ever do for your doggie.mine all loved their crates and it had really become their safe place and my beagles time out space that she would just put herself in when she knew she had been naughty which was 90% of her entire 13 years of life🥰🤣 she was the naughtiest beagle ever but I loved her so much and miss her even more....it's funny though how puppies and leashes don't get a long🤣 oh and we used to hang a bell on the door knob and we would ring the bell and say potty time when they were puppies,they will eventually tap the bell with their nose to let you know they need out.
Yes the paper on the second envelope flip book reminds me of quilting fabric. I enjoy the mixed look of both hobbies!

The Valentine Kit from Denise is deee-licious!! when i got my 1st order from her....i almost expected her yummy avocado papers to smell like cotton candy! lol-the pinks are amazing and perfect for Valentines Day. Oh the fun and challenges of a new puppy....Jimmy Joe will know the ropes before ya know it-sounds like you guys are doing a great job and he is loving his new home and people :-) big hugs my friend

Hi Gayle, had fun making my very first coffee dyed paper yesterday! Quite interesting! So you can teach an "old dog" new tricks. I mentioned in a prior post that I made some faux stamps. All inspired by you and your wonderful videos, Gayle. Thank you! Love the Valentine Pack! Those Eco dyed papers are amazing. I've never seen anything like them before. I know you can't hear me, but I keep talking to you! LOL I never had a new pup that was happy about the leash, but eventually they succumbed and were just fine! Love your Mike and Jimmy Joe stories. Great video as always. I love the quilted covers. I have a few old quilts my grandma made. Would like to use some but afraid to cut into them. I enjoy hearing about Jimmy Joe. It will be no time and you’ll have him trained. Be sure to take pictures of him each month as he grows. I’d like to see you make a Jimmy Joe journal. Just a suggestion. Thank you for sharing 🤗

Coming from someone who has no income due to a disability and a spouse who just lost his job because the company moved out of state December 27th, AND a musician and vocalist.... it is not ridiculous that you save every scrap! Especially music paper!! Lol congrats on finally getting JJ home

What I did with a belly band that was too short I added piece of lace on top and bottom . it look pretty good too.

My experience with puppy crate training - most puppies will not go potty in their crates because that is "their safe space". It takes time for sure he will get it, just like having an infant all over again.♡♡♡♡

Hi, Gayle. We still have some baseboard that is chewed up from when our dog was a puppy. I bought the sour apple spray too. She just had to outgrow it. Oh, something I learned, too late, do not give the puppy free rein of the whole house, keep them to a small area and gradually enlarge it.
Yes! We are doing something right! He’s only in one area most of the day. We bring him downstairs to watch tv at night but only when we are with him. ❤️

Love this envelope project… now I have to go make some… lol! The adventures of having a puppy… I hope you cure him of chewing your furniture ; my golden retriever chewed up a very heavy barbecue table legs and bench… ugh! I wish I knew about the apple spray then. 🤪
Absolutely love the quilt square cover. It's so fun to watch you embellish your journals (and get updates about Jimmy). You always have the perfect digitals.
I use Press N Seal over my bottles when I travel, your able to put the cap back on. Then I put the bottles in a small zip lock bag. Great idea for the bell bands, I have short ones too. 👍❄️❄️❄️

I taught my shepherd how to shake when he was a puppy and now he's big and strong and he paws my hands and hurts so bad. He does come and puts his paw on my hand when he needs to go out. He is a good boy over all but he loves to sleep on the couch. Good luck with Jimmy Joe.

Gail...to take your Art Glitter Glue, remove the screw top, put a piece of plastic wrap over the bottle, and screw the top back on over it. Also put tape across the pin to secure it to the nozzle...maybe take an extra pin, as well.

My dog was never a fan of a crate, but he loves his big, open, kennel in my garage.

A tip to stop the little Guy from chewing on the furniture is to use vinegar it is harmless for him and most furniture.
To be sure try at a hidden spot on the furniture. It is way cheaper to I guess. 😊
Works on electric cords too.
Good luck and don’t give up. You need to be more stubborn than the little Guy. 😊

I. Was watching Linda is real on her love stream, she told us to talk amongst ourselves like you say. I feel left out when it comes to live streams. Can't seem to be able to participate. Clueless, that's me. But I understand your saying better.this is a good thing/ bad thing. I am a talker some days. Quiet other days. But have been known to blurt out things and turned my face bright red with embarrassment other times. Just let me watch so I can do....getting myself an eco printer! Yay!

As far as Jimmy Joe not liking the leash, have you tried just putting the leash on him when he’s in the house and having him drag it around to get used to it?
Yes, we’ve done that a bit in the yard. He’ll get it. He’s just a baby, so all this stuff is new to him. Patience is key for a puppy mom!! Lol! ❤️

Gayle, how is the quilt cover made to give it some stability? My mom gave me a beautiful cutter quilt and I'm contemplating how to use it for covers.
It has a 9 x 12 envelope between the quilt and the fabric on the inside. ❤️

Try using some cling wrap under the cap of glue bottle.... u r freezing and im sweating.... i only print my digitals when i want them but store under name on computer... Gayle can tell me please what is the name of the video that has your ideas book in

Honestly, Tabby, I don’t know. Many Etsy sellers have vintage postcards in their shops, including me. But I don’t really know for sure on copyright. I just don’t have the legal background to tell you. I always tell people, if you feel uncomfortable, don’t do it. ❤️

I saw somebody make it online, I can’t remember who but I made some. I just got some clear plain tape, not the frosted kind, the shiny kind, and pulled off pieces and I stuck it on a plastic sheet protector so I can get it back off again and just dab on alcohol ink. I don’t remember exactly what colors I used but I’m sure butterscotch was one of them, any of those brownish colors work. Then when you want to use it just tear a piece off of the sheet protector.

Wrap your glue in plastic wrap with tape! Then you can take it!!
