There’s nothing wrong with easing back in. Taking your time and playing just for you. Lindsay the frugal crafter had a video last year that really stuck with me. It had one simple rule: “you don’t have to monetize your joy” i.e. it’s okay just to play. Just keep playing, we love to watch and spend time with you. Hugs & love! 😘💜💜

You’re quilting with paper. I’ve thought it’s kinda funny when I take perfectly good large pieces of fabric, cut them apart into little pieces and stitch it all back together to make a new whole piece of fabric. Our ancestors made quilts but out of necessity so as to not waste such a precious commodity as woven fabric. I don’t think we realize how much easier life is now than it was 100 years ago. There’s a great series on TH-cam about how England made it through WWll. It’s an 8 part series called Wartime Farm. The entire country pulled together to keep everyone fed and safe. They became the best at making do. That’s what the world needs to do now.

I'll tell you my story of Stella & Brady, who had their 12 week shots today. Stella had a reaction to it & got sick, Brady got away from me & I did a face plant on my drive from catching him. Oh and he poo'd in my car. I'll probably have a black eye & cheek bone but all I do is laugh about it. And feel so embarrassed. Oh boy what a day. I went on a Carnival Cruise in November last year. Wasn't my first choice of cruise line, but actually found I loved it. It probably depends on the cruise length and destination, but we found it wasn't the "party ship" we thought it looked to be. It was just fun. Love your collaging. It is never boring - I find it very soothing listening to you talk and watching those beautiful pieces come to life under your hands.

Sure wish there was a love button to smash! This was a great session. Its good to "take it easy" here and there to refresh your batteries. Now that my forced break is nearing an end, I have been crafting more and more often. My first journal has almost all signatures laid out and paper add, pockets, tucks, fillers, etc. Next to work on cover and sew signatures in. Final will be adding lace and fabrics to journal. So excited! Its been too long for me. I love so many different things, and have so many new things to play with, thanks Timmy, that I get frustrated Im not further along with journal and craft space. But thanks to you, I can appreciate this break more. Onward! 💜🤗🐶

Listening and watching videos on scrap booking and junk journals made me realize that the sound of the person's voice doing the video made a real difference to me. AND the personality of that person. I am not a critical person but it made an enough difference to me that I had to stop watching certain videos. To make a long story short, you the man (woman!) I hope you know that saying. I have started watching you only (of course there are exceptions.) I don't want to keep going on and on (there will be other days for that!) But I do want to leave you with this, you are like having an old friend to talk with even though I watching you. You have a real talent. I wasn't afraid to say "old" because I will be 70 this year. I know you are very, very busy but I hope once in awhile you might have a couple of minutes to read my comments. God bless you, Gayle! You have filled a void in might life that I didn't know I had. I will be praying for you!

I would love to do a junk journal cruise. If we got stuck at sea I could just see it now. They ran out of Uhu and had to emergency lift boxes of it in to the ladies.

Oh Gayle, you are my therapy! i do enjoy catching your "show" as soon as it goes up, but most days, i am viewing it later in the in the evening, and ya know what? it helps me settle down and get my mind off all the drama of the day, so no matter what your doing.... i enjoy every second of it. thank you so much, i should call you Dr. Gayle!! lol. i'm still grinning from "here kitty kitty" 😂😆😂 haha.
i was thinking how fun it might be to mail the postcard you made from Lulu's digitals to her, she might have a journal she could add it to, or even put on a bulletin board in her room. 😉 i love your collage book page sheet! it is scrumptious! so happy to hear JJ is home and i bet your right, he was thinking "it was fun to have a little vacation but there's no place like home with mom and dad!

I think you should just do whatever makes you feel good and brings out your creativity. And yes I just want to play in my craft room all day … at least when I get it all moved again… it is a disaster area right now… lol! 😁 I love the carol roll and can’t wait to make some too! Hey lovely, maybe try clearing the cache data on your iPad and restarting. Sometimes the amount of residual data floating around from usage makes them do funny things. Google should know haha

I'm crafting along. I made some envelopes and needed to spiff up my creations as I watched. I love the idea of being stuck at sea with a bunch of crafty people. Just think of all those brochures they have for you to collect there would be no amount of 'junk' journaling going on. If each person sacrificed a shirt, pair of shorts or a lacy dress we would have plenty of fabric for embellishments. Glue might be a problem at some point though! Hope you have a blessed day... Hi Gayle: I loved the collage paper roll when you first showed it. I used a manila folder, cut tab sides to make straight edges. Covered with scraps of map, scrapbooking paper, old dictionary, French book page, etc. Cut folder into tag shapes & added ribbon with button at top. Back is clean for writing. So cute! Hi Gayle. I love these paper rolls! I have an idea how you can store them. Get yourself a pants hanger with the built in sliding (clothes pin) clips and hang up your papers up the on the wall. That way you could even make them longer. 😃

Gayle you will usually find that the problem is your earphones not the I pad/phone.perhaps the cord connecting the plug has eroded in tubing? XxxLizzie ,hope you are feeling lot better and more like yourself.xxx

Good Morning ..It’s warm here too! Our trees are even starting to bud out. Flowers are coming up also. I just hope it doesn’t snow again! Please don’t get out and overdo in the yard! As my husband tells me you be the Forman and let the kids and I do the heavy stuff. It’s hard not to just get right in there and do it but I have learned the hard way its better than the trip back to the hospital. Hugs and have a great day

I love the way the collage pages turned out! I actually find the sound of paper ripping relaxing! I hope you show us when your cutting it apart, it looks like it will be confusing with the bigger pictures on it. The corset envelope was so cute, such a clever idea! Thanks for sharing!

Re issues with iPad....It could be your headphones? Try them on something else. If your headphone socket is faulty you could connect some wireless headphones via Bluetooth in the settings menu. Love all you do Gayle. Take care 💕
One can never watch too much collageing and I have learned so much watching you and Rachel. I did one with about 4 book pages and it was great to get all the tags, pockets and journaling cards to be decorated. I just don't have enough scraps to a lot at one time.
Hi Gayle. I just wanted to let you know I was able to retrieve my Etsy account. I had to reinstall my Etsy app, and was so excited that all my Digi kits were still there. My guess would be the earphones. Try a different pair, If that isn't it the jack/port may be bad. There are places that fix them. Not sure in your area but check cell phone repair places. hugs

Sometimes when I put my earbuds in it doesn’t snap in all the way even though it feels like it’s in good. It doesn’t shift the sound. So I always give it a snug thumb push 😉.

This is so much fun! I love the look of collage. Talking about covering your dirty words up, I had just started junk journaling and made a bunch of tags and pockets and was going to use one, one day and oh my goodness! It would have made a sailor blush!
