- Input shaft speed sensor fix for 2008 Toyota Camry P0793
This vehicle comes with 2 sensor input and output so make sure for P0793 you replace sensor behind Starter Motor not under Battey holding Plate
Thank you so much for this video! My CEL came on and i realized quickly i wasn't shifting to higher gears anymore. After getting the P0793 error on the OBD i discovered the wires into the sensor harness had been chewed by a mouse or chipmunk causing the problem. I found the correct female harness on Amazon, spliced it into the existing wires and my Camry is shifting normally again! You saved me a lot of time and money!
I don't understand a thing about self repairing a car, your comment is so helpful, I apparently have the same issue, one of the 3 cable on my intermediate shaft speed sensor socket was chewed by a mouse, it cleaned the excess cable right off the cable sleeve like eating a f*cking spaghetti. time to get the mouse poison out again, thanks for the info.
OK my my car will not come out of the park I had change the news the sewage system so now what should I do now
I have a 2004 Lexus es330 with that same code. I changed the sensor under the battery but it still gives the same code. Do you know if there is another sensor on my vehicle? I can’t find any videos with this information nor on google so this is why I’m here asking lol. Hope u can help Thanks.
