He’s super talented…definitely a triple threat (sing, dance and act). Before he became famous, many of us remember him from the old Disney channel show, Mickey Mouse Club. As a kid he was on there with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and JC Chasez. There are still old videos of them singing and dancing on here.

I didn't think Slash ever needed another guitarist, but he never sounded better, so that explains why, Van Halen's son.

oh also - there is a video where Mark Ronson is getting interviewed about writing and composing this song and he says to someone he would love to get "someone like Slash" to perform in it, and the person told him to just ask him. So Mark did. Slash apparently said yes right away, and even was familiar with how well Ryan sings.

Look up Dead Man’s Bones. It was a rock duo consisting of Ryan Gosling and his friend Zach Shields and was active from 2007 to 2012.
I love that they used kids as backup and at each concert they had a talent show. There is a documentary about it.
The four guys at the front are the actors from the movie, who play the other Kens: Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education and Doctor Who), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Secret Invasion) and Scott Evans (One Life to Live and brother of Chris Evans).

Ngl I've genuinely forgotten most, if not all, of this years Oscars, I don't remember who won what, wore what, who was/wasn't there, like there's nothing rattling around in my brain about what happened at the Oscars, despite having watched the near whole thing. The tribute to Marilyn Monroe and Diamonds are a girls best friend in the set and costumes is just such a brilliant detail that elevates this performance

You should check out La La Land; it was a musical he did with Emma Stone (who was one of the people he lent the mic to right before the end). He was nominated for best actor for it, and Emma Stone won for best actress.

Absolutely love this performance but oh man, I’m glad you said that about Slash’s thin guitar tone. I’ve been saying that for 30 years. He’s a great player, and his guitar sounds great on the GnR records, but his live tone has always sucked.
Now we just need Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, and Anne Hathaway to all appear in a Barbie sequel,
especially Emma Stone as either any type of Barbie or Barbie’s best friend Midge, who falls in love with Ryan Gosling’s Ken
and Cillian Murphy as a human version of Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s teacher, and love interest of human version of Margot Robbie’s Barbie (who now goes by Barbara Handler; since she was named after the inventor of Barbie Ruth Handler’s daughter).
I also hope the rest of the original cast comes back like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Michael Cera, Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Alexandra Shipp, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Helen Mirren (Narrator), and Will Ferrell.
Let’s hope that Greta Gerwig and Margot both bring back composer and songwriter Mark Ronson to write more songs, and maybe add Jack Antonoff, who’s known for in a rock band called Fun, and write & produce some songs with Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift.

Yes, the producers and studio totally regret making 1.5 billon on a movie in 3 months. I don't know how they will ever recover having played iconic beloved characters in such a delightful way. The Oscars chose 2 barbie songs nominated. I've seen other award shows chose 3 of the songs. Nominations for almost every category across a half dozen types of awards. Best supporting actor nomination for Gosling which I'm sure he's totally regretting every day
