  • Embarking on a memorable journey with my children and beloved wife, we set out to visit the iconic ọgẹ dam in my hometown of Saki. Our adventure was infused with excitement as we paused along the way to indulge in nostalgic childhood snacks: popcorn and groundnut. Watching my children relish these treats brought back cherished memories.
En route, we encountered friendly locals, including playful goats, whom the children delighted in feeding bits of our snacks. As we approached the dam, the awe-inspiring sight left us all speechless.
The towering structure and the vast expanse of water captivated our senses, highlighting the marvels of engineering and nature's grandeur. It was a poignant moment as I shared the significance of this place with my family, recounting childhood tales and local folklore.
Adding to the thrill of the day, my children eagerly tried their hand at using a catapult for the first time, a skill passed down through generations in our community. Their enthusiasm and joy were palpable, making this experience not just about sightseeing but also about immersing in our cultural heritage. Overall, our visit to ọgẹ dam was a blend of discovery, bonding, and appreciation for our roots.
I felt immense pride in showcasing this beautiful landmark to my family, bridging the gap between our diverse backgrounds and creating lasting memories of unity and exploration.

The mommy loves her children well well just like their daddy... But it seems like she loves them well more... And she was very right when she said she don't want Adam and his twiny to go there.... It's very nice to see and hear that.
May you remain together til infinite ❤❤

Judgement was well served in the case of the twins vs. the dam & congrats to Yaqoob; it was a win for responsible first-borns.😅. Also that view on the way... so, so lovely. Thanks for sharing the video.

Its their dads expression that makes me laugh the most. Yakub is a chip off the old block. He is like his dad in many ways, his love for the yoruba language, cool, calm and collected and he is laying a good precedence for his younger ones.
