I haven't done a lot of paintings with one shot.. But I will make a video on it for you. My great friend Gino Chambers does his work like that. he is incredible at it!
Also use stabillo pencils, probably an east coast west coast thing and everywhere in between. Probably something l8ke this, Hey do you want a coke, yeah give me a Dr Pepper, I moved to Kansas as a young boy from Massachusetts we called that kind of drink a soda, out here it's a pop, east coast a pop is a smack to the mouth not a can or bottle of soft drink.

When I was in art school they called those blending sticks, stomps. At least that's how the teacher pronounced it. Also heard them called stabillos.
