    I bought a balance brand new flat for $50000. A five room flat in Yishun. 10 mins walk to MRT. Today, is worth $600+k.

    Please don't overpay for a nicely renovated house if you're planning to reno everything

      A Nicely renovated home can certainly save a significant amount of money in the short to medium term after such a pricey initial home purchase, so it’s definitely an important factor to consider.

    actually for my case I got an buyer agent! Because they are just like lawyers for property deals. Ensure everything is streamline.... At least no stress on house hunting...

    I feel like you and your bf/husband is like me and my fiancé, I'm also the type where if I see something I like and I find the price reasonable, I'll just buy it. While she is like you, prefer to shop around more to see if there's something better/cheaper before making a purchase 😅

    Good to diy but better for you to pay an admin fee to have an agent to do. Maybe $500.

    Why have to wait 5-6 years? Not acceptable
    During my time (in 1980+), there are many balance flats to chose but not in good location. I chose a 5-room flat in Yishun on the 2nd floor.

    No worry. I bought my first resales HDB at 160k, my mum next block same size bought at 20k many year ago😅😅😅. End up I sold for 320k😂😂😂 soon standard HDB will be 2 million. You Huat, I Huat, every body huat! Vote PAP!

    You can also apply for BTO and rent for 2/3 years

    Smart move for not waiting for BTO. The cost of handling children with special needs outweighs the profit from BTO.

    Can be cheap, location good, and big. But your lease will be 59 years and below. The loan quantum for singles to buy resale to borrow full.
    Agent wise, if it save u enough time in comparison to how much resale index grew, it's always worth it.
    After finished viewing the video, you guys have a car. Can forego location if you guys not giving up the car in near future.
    Ps. Last unit looks like skypeak view @ bukit batok

    time to restrict PRs to buy HDB resale flats, PR can only rent flat, cannot buy.
