    You remind me of someone in a video game that you occasionally have side quests with and you always have some crazy invention you want the main player to test out. Everything you make is so awesome, keep it up.

      Thanks! Its funny that you say that because I always find those characters my favorite, especially the dwarf blacksmith from the recent God of War game (sindry I think). Anyways, he has a golden hammer which I'd love to replicate.

    Uri, I work as a repairman of brass instruments in the states. I suggest, if you want a higher finish by hand, a product called miracle cloth. I don't know of the availability where you are but it is mainly cloth soaked in coconut oil. It really shines up brass and brings it to a pretty high luster.

      Dr. Locklear I would be careful with that and try and stick to washing your Trumpet with water, but I suppose if you wanted to you could use that.

    Spray glue! You need spray glue. It is the savior the glue-dripping nation and has saved my sanity and the appearance of my work in many many cases.

    The sound of the sped up engraving clips is just wonderful. It is really cool to watch how you do the turns and fine detail with the metal chisel. Your videos will never fail to amaze! Keep up the great work!

    I love your videos! I do a lot of wood work with chisels and hand tools and learn with every project. All I can say from personal experience is no one is as critical as the Maker of the project. Your engraving is beautiful!

Don't sell yourself short my friend, you do amazing work and that is the beauty in a hand made piece little imperfections which make it perfect because it was all done by hand not machine.     You should use glue and loose flocking instead of felt. Much cleaner outcome but can be messy. I always flocked into a garbage bag so I could reuse the left over material. Keep up the good work I love your engraving and how you keep it low tech. It really shows your growth as an artist.

    Great video mate. Here's a tip, instead of gluing felt to wood, try this stuff called "flocking" which works great and has no edges.

      How about make a simple sharpening fixture so you can have precision cutting angles on all your chisels then engrave the fixture with the freshly sharpened graver

    I know your pain... once made 3 teapots with the spout upside down... Didn't notice until I was trying to use it. Had to look at the first teapot I had ever made to realize what went wrong.

    So a thought came to mind when I rewatched this video. Why not try to hammer harden the knife edge? Its what they would do for bronze blades in the past. It would make it a bit more serviceable and would leave you a very nice finish pattern depending on how much you would sand it afterward.

    3:47 I feel like you could have a separate ASMR channel that's just unedited cuts of you making engravings, filing, chipping at wood, etc.

    definitely bending over the round pipe helps. hammering closer to the bend and pipe produces better control .

    Uri, I love your low tech approach, it would be great if at the end you gave an estimate of how many hours your projects take. I'm sure it's far more than what the videos let on and will help us appreciate how much effort and dedication you invest into your craft.

    Perhaps next time it might be a good idea to put contact paper over the felt before you apply it, that way any excess glue will get on that and you can peel it away afterward.

    If you want to aply the golden leafs without showing the imperfection you have to aply a reddish substance, or in case of silver leafs a silvery one. I dont know the english name but a quick search will show it up. You polish that substance one hardened and its marvelous
