Hello Mr Slab hunter, have you checked out any of the Handing Magic L rods yet? They're really good off of Amazon. I have an UL spinning rod and its so light I can throw Bobby Garlland Itty bit 1.25 inch swimr. Been catching the big males and a few warmouth. 1/32nd ounce jig heads off amazon, and I cut the bait keeper off with fingernail clilppers. Catching bass too.

Cuz sometimes I can get em but mostly I'm just trollin... lol
I use different techniques.
I try the James wiggle but they're not fallin for it. 😂
I've caught a bit of everything in these spots but over a long period of time.

South Dallas? Im next to south side. No fishing holes here? I cant think of one place. White rock is polluted. Thats east dallas anyway. Bro i cant think of one place in south Dallas except off 175 and i dont catch anything there
I'm in Oakcliff.
When I was a kidd, Lakeside park in Duncanville was good for catfish. I tried going there 2 times last year but no luck. Used chicken liver, worms and shad.
It was a popular spot way back when so maybe they got the decent sized fish.
Seems like a lot of the stocked ponds are so heavily pressured that the fish wise up.
There's a couple of ponds in OC like that.
I've caught and seen other people catch good fish out of them but it's very pressured.
I heard about that ish at Whiterock. lol Pun intended. It's a shame how all that crap got pumped into Whiterock creek and made it's way down to the lake. I've caught some catfish out of there before. I was just fishing for fun so they went back in the water. No luck with other species though.
1121 1st Ave, Dallas, TX 75210 there is a pond there suppose to have 1lb gills in there. I will be finding out real soon. If so, all the Slab Hunter family will have another spot to fish. Hopefully, a nice video will be coming soon. Thanks...

I’m. From the Cliff and there are spots that are still hitting. It’s spots in five mile creek where the bream are pole benders. Can’t drive down to lemon lake anymore but you can walk back there and it’s still good fishing there too.
I was going to look for crappie in that spot one day. Never tried but didn't know. Never would have thought that'd be your favorite gill spot of all the places.
Btw going to hit the railroad pond Thursday am to see if there around, crappie wise.
There could be crappies in there probably alot of them. Yea this my favorite for sure. I wish redears was in there.

They put red ear in the pond with the bridge going over it. Was a resurrection of the area. There's habitat in there and all. I had a nice red ear pop me off in the pond with em. Never tried again. Maybe one day.
Please don’t tell the spot in south Dallas! That’s where I fish I know exactly the spot you’re going to overpopulate with disrespectful fishermen.
