Tackling a Heavy Setout of Greens (out late)

Before leaving to the dump that day, we helped out another driver and the last stop on his route was this sea of green waste out late.....again. The driver we helped would usually pass by around 7:30am for greens, and much later in the day for trash; Which was usually 6 or so black bags. In most cases, we were told to take any green out late with the trash so that the driver didn’t have to go back for it the following day as an extra. Oh well, half of it was just dirt anyway and plain dirt is considered trash. I probably should have worn a mask for this stop but then again I wasn’t expecting a huge dust storm to come out of almost every single can.

reminds me of stories veteran drivers would tell me when they would occasionally get a cloud of pure sawdust when tossing a bin into a truck
