Coming from a man who works in the sanitation business, and working with guys who came from waste I can see why WM lost the contract. It’s all about money at waste.
@@Curottocanman around here in Michigan they buy newer trucks for the cities. My city got rid of the 64 gallon trash toters and got newer 96 gallon toters. They only got a handful of residents contracts left. Romulus Huron Brownstown Wyandotte Van Buren I can’t think of any others. GFL is losing contracts too. Priority waste took Taylor next year they get Dearborn heights. And the city of Dearborn MI goes up for bidding in June. won’t effect me much since I’m usually in Liviona!
That and WM don’t care for residential contracts. They’re shifting the focus on commercial waste which is one of the biggest reasons why they acquired advanced. Where I’m at republic has been killing it and swooping WM residential customers like it’s candy for 50 dollars less.

Not to mention they have ass kisser who always gets the newer trucks and what not. GFL has had its issues but we fixed it even as a loader I put the customer first! P.S I’ve watched your videos they’re pretty cool my guy :D
Hello, how can one go about getting contracts for this type of work? I did this for a gentleman a while back but have lost his contact info since then. Please lmk I am really trying to get back into this.
probably recycled but some of the newer ones may be reused I don’t really know. waste Management definitely won’t be rolling these out they haven’t won anything in forever
What a great video- always sad to see a company lose a piece of business.so many of those carts look so new. Did the guy sit and bounce on carts all day? And was that just to loosen the metal from the carts? Lots of work for these guys. You found a great opportunity to film this.
WM got lots work here calgary alberta then out GFL start show up on road now you most GFL but WM not very much.they lost contract with some mall and mjor store too.😮
Waste Management charges way too much and Groot comes in and doesn’t charge as much so they just decide to switch because the residents want it cheaper and Waste Management is always one of the most expensive options

Pretty funny how humping a cascade while it is flat on the ground removes the tipper bar. Will the cascades get reused elsewhere or scrapped?

Some of the Recycle America Cascades ended up in Forest Grove and Columbia County in Oregon
