I have an iPhone XS Max and the tapping technique worked!!! I was getting worried because the previous techniques you mentioned weren’t working for me, but am so shocked this worked and SO relieved I don’t have to buy a new phone. Thank you SO SO much!!!

What the hell. I have an XS Max, my 1x camera just suddenly got blurry and unfocused while 2x zoom works fine. I was losing hope after had tried all the methods and nothing worked. Was thinking a camera replacement for sure. Then I tried tapping again, but this time, INTENSE tapping around the camera (and the edges of the phone), it worked??? The photo is as clear as day now. Keep tapping guys.
UPDATE: It worked just for a while. it happened agian and i slapped the camera again and it worked but as before it happened again. thank you so much! it worked afrer slapping and tapping the camera several times.

This was the first video that mentioned the “pressing/squeezing” around the camera solution. This is what worked for me. As I squeezed I heard the faintest click sound and my rear camera started working. Thanks!

Worked! My front camera displayed a crisp photo but capturing the picture made it fuzzy. I dont know why that happened but its not happening anymore! I tried everything except the last reset option. Thanks a lot!

Hi SIr, I just found out on 3utool that my rear camera has been replaced and my rear camera has a focusing issue. But when I looked at the serial of the camera it is quite the same as the authentic camera. Is there a possibility that my camera is just an aftermarket or also authentic from other iphone? I have tried all the methods in this video and somehow work but I still doubt. Btw im using iphone x.
Got a refurbished iPhone X. Selfie camera is blurry, and not that great. Paid 1100 for the Apple Service center to get it fixed. They cleaned the lens and raised their hands saying it cannot be fixed.

Iphone X. The face ID just doesn't work at all. When the camera doesn't work, noticed that the flashlight also doesn't work. This happens everytime when the phone is rebooted. The hack which fixes it for me is to 1. open whatsapp 2. open any conversation 3. click on the camera icon. The application will freeze as the camera is not responding. Do this 5-6 times in quick succession and the camera mysteriously starts working again. Once the camera starts working notice that the flashlight also starts working.

Just when I was about to give up… pressing the camera actually worked for me (12pro max)
So, my portrait mode on rear camera isn’t working properly. And I tried everything. But this tapping and slapping steps helped me. Haha thanks a lot.
