Worked for me. I changed the camera settings, then I restarted my phone by pressing volume up key one time, volume down key one time, then power button until the screen turned black, & the apple logo appeared. Camera, PLUS FLASHLIGHT, now working. Thank you 👍
My back camera and flash light stopped working my front camera works, and the back camera works on the setting 2x only right now

If this might help anyone, I gently pressed my fingers on the back camera and flash light for about 10 mins (that is after I had switched off my phone). On rebooting, the camera and flashlight worked again.

I have iPhone Xs and camera issue in slow-motion. I have tried this and also update latest iOS. When i select photo/slow-motion in low light to capture photo or slow-motion video that time camera flicker issue occur. Please, let me know how to fix it. Do i need to visit Apple Store ?

It worked for 3 days, so thank you so much. The problem is that I had to restart the iPhone and it's not working again :( I don't really know exactly how I did it the last time but I did more things than the video ones.

UPDATE:
Took my iPhone X to the Apple store, they said my phone camera was just broken and would need to be replaced. They said it would cost me 80$. I said ok bye and went home, ordered a new rear camera on eBay for 30$ and replaced it myself. My camera and flash work perfectly now.

Elijah Clark no it was very easy IF you have the 2 tiny screw drivers that it requires. i had to order a tool kit on amazon. There are TH-cam videos on how to do it properly. Took me 10 minutes

Same happened with my iphone 8 plus last week until now. Camera and flash works only with 2x zoom but still won’t capture. Front cam works but can’t capture. If i use the front cam to take a picture in Instagram, it works fine but back cam is still on 2x zoom. I upgraded to ios 13.4 for hopes that it might fix the problem but it didn’t.

I solved the problem by taking it to the shop and they open the iPhone, they just press the camera back because it moved 💔, And now my phone is open 💔
Hussein Ali great that it’s already fixed. I was supposed to go to a repair shop but we are in an enhanced community quarantine in Cebu Philippines. I just thought to wait after everything goes back to normal. Surprisingly, it worked perfectly fine now. Camera and flashlight. Since you mentioned, that might be the case of my camera too: it was maybe moved. There are times that my phone drop accidentally or something that might cause it to malfunction. Anyway, thank you for checking in. 🤗
