Good, thorough review and worth commenting. I think bike is the new wave of sport touring replacing the Concours and FJR and done very well. These days, everything is sport touring, but this bike truly defines the term in my opinion for the next generation bikes. We will see the R1250RT around a bit and rightfully so. I can't believe how well this bike behaves at low speeds and then just comes to life like no bike I have ever ridden while smooth as glass thought he entire process. The handlebars are bit heavy, but when the bike gets to its lean angle the smoothness is a good or better than they quality and smoothness of the engine. It is just solid. My first 200 mile on the bike, chicken strips are gone and well into the 40s in lean angle. (Ok, bragging a bit; I gotta stop that 40 degree stuff.) Anyway, who is looking at the lean angle gage when you in the twisties. Not me! I like that is shows that the actual lean angles. My BMW allows me to pinpoint. I would like to know if I missed this on the H2. It allows me to get a feel of where I am at so that I can reduce risk. This is not a bike I would take across the continent. I will save that for the GSA. My 2023 H2 SX SE is amazing. I could go on and on.

Good review especially explaining the dash settings. This is not the “SE” model which comes with electronic suspension and Brembo Stylema M50 monoblock calipers and self repairing paint where small scratches disappear over time.

Hi Jim, cheers. Yeah, we don't get the SE here anymore.

Nice review! Thanks. I am getting one!! Don't agree with your view about android auto/apple car play as Kawasaki will fall victim to their software developers. Kawasaki have done the right thing with their own app Kawasaki spin. Why? Because with all this hi tech it's very important that Kawasaki control it for technical reasons. Spin will beat android auto/apple carplay because kawasaki can customise Spin to their bike and their electronics, it is more complex than just going with what is in vogue for cars. I am all for Kawasaki Spin just like I am all for Kawasaki having the flexibility and freedom to design their bikes without being limited by third parties. As long as spin works with Android and Apple I do not see any concerns at all. I am fine with the key fob too, you get used to keeping it in your pocket and it auto locks the bike when you are away from it. Also the stock plate holder is fine by me - if it ain't broke don't fix it. It is opinion really but with a bike this perfect it has no faults....this is the dream sports tourer. Yes we want to tour and we want the comfort and we want the power too. The H2 SX ticks all the boxes. Viva la Kawasaki!

There is an active suspension available for this bike, when you go for the "SE" version. People praise it, I'm happy with my standard one.

They've only made a few minor changes to the styling, but it's somehow so much better looking than the old one.

When you gotta bike with autoblip don't blip on the down shifts, looks a bit lame. Not a bad review tho 👌

Nice review! I got the 2020 SE and indeed I've kept the stock silencer, I see no point of chancing on this bike (on every other my previous 15 bikes I have done it). Those Akra's and Yoshi's don't even look good on her.. I checked the 23 model sold here it has SHOWA electronic suspension (KECS) included

Great review, but I winced every time I heard your ring hit the tank. That poor, poor paint.
