- Attachments to make your mower more efficient and do more with it! Check this one out! When I first started this channel I mentioned that I would explain to y’all exactly what this was and what I use it for. Well I remember that I hadn’t done that yet. I’ll throw the links down below to both of these products! So check out what exactly I use this hitch for on the front of my mower and several of the uses you can get out of it! Purchased the kart mate pro for my Wright ZK 52. I am a professional lawn contractor hence why I purchased this piece of equipment. I have not received it yet as it is still going through customs however this is engineered and designed to spec unlike the cowboy

@@tyronecashin4351 people on the internet are quick to to judge stuff they have zero clue about or are scared of or don’t understand. You will love it when you get it! Mine paid for itself the first day I used it.
I just bought a Kubota Z412KW, which has zt3600 transmissions and it's max towing capacity is only 250lbs. The Z421, Z422 models are identical. (Other brands in the same price range are the same or less depending on the weight of the machine itself because they use zt2800 or lower transmissions. The Kubota is a heavier machine.)
The extra loading on the transmissions should be a concern. The loaded dtatch unit will probably far exceed the mower's specified maximums (total and towed weights).
The out front barrow will also put much more strain on the transmissions during turning, compared to one that's towed.
I guarantee it will. I’ve owned this since early 2020 and haven’t had a single problem. It’s got limitations obviously but I just use it with some sense and it’s never let me down. I’ve had WAYYYY more than 250 pounds in it and the machine has almost 500 hours on it now with zero problems.

It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!

That’s great that you can go through a 36’ gate but you have to keep pulling the wheels back out to dump. It should dump from the side if you were needing to do so.
I heard you say that you have a couple of bad disk in your back. I would suggest you get an air ride cushion seat. I was in the commercial lawn care for 13 years before I retired at 63. The last 5 I drove a 60" Gravely with an air ride seat. Night and day difference on my back. I would never have made that last 5 on a regular spring cushion seat. I had 2 different surgeons telling me to retire because of my lower back, neck, and hips. Good luck.

It was 5 years before I retired. I walked into my Gravely dealer and told them I wanted an air ride seat mounted on a new mower. I didn't care what it cost, if they had to get one from John Deere or out of a a Semi-truck. Gravely had just come out with it, and it kept me mowing another 5 years. Probably could. I see tons of people say they’ll do it or have it done then never hear back from them or if I do they said it broke after the first try. People absolutely hate this thing because of the price but when they try to build one or see how well it actually works they understand why it’s not cheap. I honestly thought it was too expensive too until I bought it and made my money back on the first job I used it on. 🤷♂️
I was thinking of the same thing except for the fact that I have no use for it neat idea tho I have a rear hitch on mine that I don't use much on mine for to use heavy bolts to make it like a class 3 trailer hitch from the junk yard and some thick steel plates I'd use grade 8 bolts on it deffently a high stress aria or a guy could get some heavy steel tubing and make it so the hitch is ajustable but got to use the correct supplies to make it

I wonder if you could weld a dump truck bed to it also. And maybe you could weld a swimming pool on the back so if you get hot you can swim while you use the auto mow feature you already had welded on. Way too elaborate for a wheel barrow attachment.
I like the swimming pool idea. Already has a dump feature.
Its cool but that's right where I run my tie-downs for on the trailer
I had to figure out how to set mine up after I did that, definitely get in the way 😂
Seems to me a trailer would much more effective. I also have a mowing and landscaping business. The only benefit I see is being able to fold it. I use trailers when needed. And I can put more than 1000 lbs in my trailers. And more leaf’s, stick and etc because the trailer is bigger in size.
Gets a lot of mulch in tight spots that a trailer can’t go. Unless it’s a really small trailer. I’ve also used it to haul all kinds of random crap. It’s very nice if you don’t have access to a dump trailer, get 10 yards delivered from someone and can load this and drive it where you need to and dump it. Makes a solo guy very efficient. I don’t do lawn and landscaping anymore except at my house and I still find plenty of uses for it.
Mower won’t flip over if you weld extra caster you can buy for at Harbour freight fir ten bucks like I did
Why not put a hitch on the rear instead? Seems silly to put it on the front. Can’t see if you’re riding around with it flipped up.
The flipped up feature is just for transport, nice to have if you have multiple machines on one trailer. Some people have mounted these on the rear of thier machine.
That cart looks like it would work on the back of a zero turn too. The casters would allow you to still steer however without jack knifing

I see plenty of people say that then I never heard back from them. And the ones that do build them use 2x4’s and the thing breaks before they move 10 feet with it. This thing is meant to hold roughly 800 pounds. I don’t even think my mower is strong enough to move that weight but a much larger commercial unit will do it all day long. I saw your comment about a third caster, what do you mean by that? You added one to your actual mower?
I wouldn’t waste my money on one id rather buy the self propelled cart that will operate with out the mower . Like you said you would need a different machine to go through a gate with it .
these are great carts way better than a pull cart . I actually did build mine outa the front casters off of a parts zeroturn I had and square tube. works just like the 1 you have. I use it everyday.

Nope, designed to mount up front. Some people mount them on the rear of riding and stand on mowers but they’re designed to be up front. Allows more accurate placement of the material you’re transporting.

Wonder if you could rig this on a walk behind? I have seen them on walk behinds but they put all the weight on the mower frame....
There have been people that have done it, I can’t remember who but the company that makes this makes mounts for them to go the rear of standers. I believe anyone that has them on a walk behind has made them themselves. Not sure how well a walk behind would do with a heavier load either, I’ve never used one.
Bolting crap on any zero turn is a losing proposition. Always gets in the way of going around and up to trees, it rusts, the bolts rattle and come loose nope.

So dumb. I drilled a hole and put in a 2” ball for $8.00. I move my boat, trailers, etc. around, as well as pull shrubs by looping a tow strap around the shrub and then hook the other end around the ball. Easy

Its clearly a well designed and very robust cart. If you were a professional lawn scaper, this is what you would want. Most residential lawn jockeys can just go get the wheelbarrow, so comparing the 2 is just not living in reality.
Put a linear actuator on it to make it push button dump

Problem with all ZT mowers is Not Enough Deck Airflow. Not everyone likes choking the Lawn with clippings. Heavily modified my deck/mower and can suck/chop/bag big sticks/leaves. No add on Vacuum engine.. direct into the dump from seat "Bag". Why have mower manufacturers designed such CRAP I'll never know. All of them are CRAP.. sad but true.

Seems like a lot of weight added to your mower for basically 1/2 a wheelbarrow. I am confused why so many people want to make their lawn mowers into multi function machines; ie, snow blowers, plows. dirt buckets, Ect! Some mowers cost more than $12,000. and you want to beat the crap out of it with attachments that do a mediocre job of plowing snow and moving dirt! My 2 cents!
I’m a solo/part time operation. This unit allows me to add a piece of equipment to the front of my mower that allows me to transport a decent volume of bulk material. I don’t have to change the oil in it, I don’t have to grease anything on it, it always shows up and it’s virtually maintenance free. It also folds up and takes almost zero additional space up in my trailer. I understand it’s not for everyone but it works perfect for me and I didn’t have to spend $30,000 on it like I would have a used skid steer.

As you grow your business you may find that the "Correct" equipment for the job will always win out and spending the money for that equipment will be worth it in the long run! Picking the correct equipment, Dealer and knowing when to invest is extremely important; do the research! Best of Luck

I wonder what the long term affect the transport mode has on the hitch bouncing up and down the road? I can see a dethatcher not being too brutal, but that has to be over 100lbs.
The real problem is the tool is too far from the drive tires. I made a hitch for the rear of my mowers. It works much better because the drive tires are closer for mechanical advantage.

There is only one in this video. I wasn’t going to spend thousands to buy all the stuff this attachment can take. Pretty sure I mention somewhere in the video all the different stuff you can purchase from either company I talk about. Can’t really remember seeing as I made this video quite awhile ago.

Why not a gorilla cart on the back?
Those things are pretty cool, my mom has one and loves it. At the time I bought this they weren’t as nice as they are now. Plus, it’d be harder to place that where you need it in a mulch bed or somewhere else because you’d have to back it up versus just drive this into where you need it. Plus, with the walls I have on it now I can hold A LOT of mulch. I believe it’s 22 cubic foot capacity.
Good job on the video, but that's got to be the dumbest attachment I've ever seen, especially in the upright position. A conventional trailer attachment at the rear makes much more sense. But whatever floats your boat, I guess.
The upright position is just for transporting. Takes up no more room on a trailer than the foot print of the machine. Having it out front gives you more accuracy on where you’re placing material or loading it from. It paid for itself on the first job i ever took it on. Doesn’t seem dumb to me 🤷♂️
That’s a rad cart but dang man, looks wayyyy over engineered for what it is.

I don’t like pushing wheelbarrows up hills or a hundred yards away from a mulch pile. Tractors can’t fit everywhere, otherwise I’d use mine. 3 ACL surgeries and 2 herniated discs forces you to make physical work a little easier. 🤷♂️
What a kluge! Added weight and stress should not be added to a MOVER. They are not tractors. What are your design qualifications and engineering to recommend these products? Probably voided the manufacturer’s warranty.
Mine? None really. But the guy and his team (engineer and fabricators) who makes them has quite a bit. Going on 3 years using this and have experienced zero problems. Mower runs and operates just like it did the day I bought it. I have a tractor. But it’s not practical to take everywhere a mower can go, that’s where this comes into play. Plus, 3 ACL surgeries and 2 herniated discs in my lower back thank me everytime this thing gets used. If you don’t like it the great thing about freedom is you don’t have to buy it, crazy thought I know.
