    The fact you had to explain to us the branding is a non starter. Brands sell in NA. name recognition is everything.

      So no one is ever allowed to start a new company? Interesting logic.

      @joshuaburba1048 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Name recognition is nothing unless you've let the advertising companies dupe you into thinking it's everything.
      In fact, quite often generic products are made by the exact same company who makes the name brand, often at the same factories and on the same machines.
      They just stick a different name on it and charge you more.
      If you're dumb enough to buy into their manipulations, that's on you.

      @@joshuaburba1048It's even worse now. You think you like John Deere, but honestly you like the engine under the hood. That will be a Kholer, Briggs & Stratton and so on.

      @@HARRYAZZHOLE Exactly right sir. Give me a Briggs and Straton engine any day. Those things are robust and reliable. I don't care what name is on the actual mower.

    Thanks for sharing this new product. Similar to my Grasshopper mower with a front mounted deck. I can remove the mowing deck and choose a turbine blower, snow blower, aeravator, among other attachments. One power unit for multiple tasks. Thanks again for bring the show to us that we’re not able to attend.

      I thought of Grasshopper and Walker, but they don't have quite the same product/application.

    • @glslawnservices1905
      @glslawnservices1905 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CopperCreekCuts what do you mean by they don't have the same product/application? You have a ZTR power plant that powers different implements. The prototype dolly system issue may be resolved by it folding up and latching into the back up of the power plant during transport mode. Just as Walker/Grasshopper's mowing decks fold up to conserve trailer space during transport.

    Yakta started in Australia in 1988 with agricultural equipment for heavy duty use. They are not a fly by night company. Quality looking. If the mowers are supported like the agricultural equipment then would be great to own. The biggest question is what you have to do to get it serviced during warranty and what is the turn around. Ryobi has a repair center 8.5 miles and 12 miles from my house. Some people have one 200 or more miles from where they live. Same for Ego, I have 3 Ego repair centers less than 12 miles from my home.

    • @yaktaoutdoor
      @yaktaoutdoor ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great point. The goal is for all our dealers to be able to maintenance our mowers, and have the best coverage of America as possible. Driving 200 miles for repairs should never be a reality.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Their booth displayed a claim of parts in 24 hours (I am going off memory, forgive me if the details or wording was slightly different). I asked them about it and the process was described as a possibility through the dealer or direct. If they don't have a way to get the part locally, they overnight it. Obviously details are lacking and that's where the devil is, but sounds like a genuinely good setup for the consumer.

    I can see the weights being moved to the back and straddling the raised up cross bar attached to the wheels. Really cool design though. I'll be interested to see where they go with this in the future.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be a good start. I'm also worried about the length. If the mower is going up the ramp and the dolly is flat on the road, there will be some nasty stress put on the hitch area.

    • @yaktaoutdoor
      @yaktaoutdoor ปีที่แล้ว

      That's definitely a way we can take it. Will pass this on to our engineers for the next version!

    I'm assuming you pull up to the attachment and get off the power unit and manually push the attachment into the p.u. there doesn't appear to be anywhere for your feet to go with no attachment hooked up.

    • @yaktaoutdoor
      @yaktaoutdoor ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can push the unit into the attachment, or drive it in. There may still be changes made by January, though!

    Grasshopper mowers have that option to remove the deck and add other stuff

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not in the standard zero turn footprint. Same with Walker/Swisher. All their models have permanent rear wheels that affect everything.

    • @ryanbirmingham3183
      @ryanbirmingham3183 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rear wheel configuration is a way better option for everything because it gives you the ability to have a deck out in front of you to be able to trim under trees, trim ditches, contour cut, and easy maintenance with the deck being able to flip up with a push of a button. Also being able to have the rear wheels in the back helps on hills and makes them hug the ground better. The rear wheels help in wetter conditions because it is moving around on 6 wheels instead of 4. Another thing is you are able to put a 25 cubic foot bagger on them because those wheels are able to support the weight unlike a mid mount mower. The wheels also help with traction in reverse, grasshopper front mounts will get all the traction you need In reverse which is useful in ditches.

    It’s almost like grasshopper mowers don’t do this 😂. You have been able to take the decks off grasshoppers and split them in half to be able to swap attachments since 1969. Grasshopper has had this figured out for a long time.

    I wouldn't say that we've never seen a mower do this before. As others said, grasshopper and, to a lesser extent, Walker have options to mount in front of their tractors as well. More so, this reminds me of the Swisher response mower from a few years ago. The yakta looks to be a much better built machine though. I've already submitted a request for information from yakta

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree on "not the first time someone made swapping decks" but I would argue from the traditional zero turn footprint it's the first time I've seen it.
      I looked up swisher response and don't see where it indicates it splits. It looks like a gen 2, though, so maybe gen 1 did and that is what you saw? I will research more and appreciate you pointing in that direction!

    • @Hillsidelanscapemanagement
      @Hillsidelanscapemanagement ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CopperCreekCuts the Gen one did indeed split. It had a strap and winch set up to attach the deck. I believe the gen2 still splits but I've not seen one in person.

    • @Hillsidelanscapemanagement
      @Hillsidelanscapemanagement ปีที่แล้ว

      And, you are correct. I didn't realize from the quick glance at the machine that it didn't have the extra set of wheels behind the 'tractor'. I saw the dolly and went from there. My bad.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No apologies needed. It's all semantics anyways. I saw a video on the Swisher on Stoney Ridge Farm. Neat machine, but swapping looked like a pain. Hopefully Yakta makes it quicker!

    • @Hillsidelanscapemanagement
      @Hillsidelanscapemanagement ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CopperCreekCuts I searched out that video this morning. You're correct, it didn't look as easy for him as the guy at the demo made it seem. I guess it takes practice. I've very intrigued by the possibilities with the yakta machine, however, I wish they could do something similar with a stand on machine.
      Did you get a chance to see the Altoz tracked machine with different implements? Any thoughts?

      100%. That's why that dolly is so important. I don't like the idea of faceplanting in a seat with a mower on top of me!😂

  • @wantsanewvehicle
    @wantsanewvehicle ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So, I've never owned or even used a zero turn before. I have a regular ride on mower for my property..I don't have much grass tbh and wanted a 'cheap' ride on mower. I do mow somebody else's yard and it's a little under 5 acres, I use a kubota tractor there with a belly mower. If zero turn mowers and ride on mowers were similar prices, I'd buy a zero turn for my next mower. I'd never buy this thing as I don't have enough use for it, and I think there are going to be a ton of issues with it. Even if the price was the same as a regular ride on/zero turn.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Let me know the issues you anticipate! (I'm not trolling. I really want to know. Yakta is reading these comments and you may hit on a legitimate issue no one has yet thought about.)

      Personally I love seeing new products come to the market. It will push the industry and one of the up coming brands can be a big player in 5-10 years. They also offer a breath of fresh air for the dealers because so many times dealers are fed up with 1 or 2 of their brands.
