My brother has Dell G15..It has a problem of turning of which is apparently common among g15 laptops.. this can only be corrected after disconnecting and connecting back the battery again
A 4050 with 75w is always better than a 3050 with 95w...simple math.!!! FYI...4050, 4060, & 4070....mobile chips can't utilise more than 85w tgp...due to nvidia's voltage limitation. And whoever bought 3050 laptops in 2023...with 4gb vram...you guys will really regret.😢...cuz games nowadays comes with crazy textures...and its really consumes vram. I think..6gb vram should be industry standard.

I think comparison between rtx 3050 4gb and RTX4050 6gb was never a comparison..
3050 is far far behind and cannot be played such as ultra preset and even high in some game..
U all need to understand that Gta V is optimised and can be played easily even in lower gpu... with a good fps
Compare the games such as Cyberpunk,Red Demp redemption with ultra preset...
You'll know the difference
Even without using the dlss and frame generation in 4050
It will score more fps than 3050..

Acer is better bro, video mein kuch mistakes hai.
Doesn't Acer have Frame Generation? It's an obvious advantage.
And can you answer these 2 questions:
Does the laptop manager app in both these laptops have the option to limit the battery charge? As in restricting it such that it doesn't reach beyond 90-95%
and lastly, can you check with Hardware info if the Acer Nitro V is by default running with dual channel for RAM or we need to have a second RAM plugged in to achieve that.
and one more thing, as per a g15 user who bought it in April, it has Mux switch in BIOS. Can you update bios for both and check?
and one more thing, have you tried the gaming with external monitors on both? Preferably a 100% sRGB one with 144Hz refresh rate or higher.... But use whatever you have if you can
limit battery charge is it something like bypass charging?
Nah like battery would show 100% charge but infact some 10-15% before 100% the battery charging stops to prevent cycle count and increasing battery life

The video is not a fair comparison in any shape. He hid the fact that the Dell G15 used has i7 11th gen + RTX 3060. Never once was it disclosed. No proper benchmarks were shown side by side. Do better next time.

GTA 5 was tested on i5 variant and what I have told is of i5 variant as at the time of the video i5 variant was not with me but i7 was there.
Sab kuch jo maine kha hai vo i5 variant use krne ke baad hi kha hai bas video ke time pe i5 vala mere paas tha nhi laptop.

Acer na hi lo to accha hai, cuz dell g15 ke next version jo 5530 wala model hai, wo i5 13450hx hai (HX series se) aur iska rtx 3050 95w ka hai (I know that rtx 4050 75w still outperforms) but still, dell g15 ka processor bahut accha hai acer se aur isme rgb lights bhi hai. Build quality dell ki 100 guna zyada hai acer se!!

I had a terrible experience with a Dell laptop:
Bought an Inspiron series laptop in 2018 with an i3-6006u chip for study purposes.
In 2019, motherboard got damaged, replaced under warranty.
In 2019 October, faced battery issues, battery was replaced.
In 2020, laptop became slow, advised to add a SATA SSD for performance improvement, but no significant change.
In 2021, battery problem recurred, replaced again.
In 2022, faced automatic restart issue with loud noise from keyboard.
Eventually sold the Dell laptop in June 2023 and switched to an HP Victus laptop, experiencing smooth performance.
User concludes that HP and Asus are the best laptop brands.
Dell? Never again. HP and Asus are the way to go for laptops.
