It's just a shame that Ramin's Red Death costume is so cumbersome and difficult to move in that he can't move. I much prefer the movement in the 2004 film

I have seen Phantom 9 times; several times with Sierra Boggess. She is the ultimate Christine!! None were better. You could feel every minute of Christine's life with her in the role. She blows me away and always will. Bravo

I agree. There have been some fabulous Phantoms and Christines...but the roles were made for Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford (they will always hold first place in my heart).

My husband surprised me with a trip to Canada and we seen it there absolutely breath taken. Then my father was ill and i was in Mich taking care of him and he surprised my daughter and I with tickets to see it at home in Cleveland it was good there but nothing compared to Canada!!!! I love it!!!!!!

The 25th anniversary is a concert! It's obvious that Ramin have much better vocal technique, he is a singer. But Gerard Butler much better for sang this in the movie. He is an actor that can sing, he made these songs really emotional and touching. His version make us melt.
i went to see this many years ago when it was Crawford as the phantom he has a great voice.. only went to see it because i new he was in it i wouldnt of gone other wise
I have seen this 5 times, front seats and loved it. Loved it when the chandeliar fell down. Would love to see it at the Sydney opera or in New York, but I won't take the clot shots just for this.
Update: I forgot to say I had the pleasure of seeing both Michael Crawford and Robert Guillame as the Phantom prior to 1994 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles, CA. Both were amazing!

Gerard Butler - Raw /Real. Of course he sang with more emotion. Ramin Karimloo - An opera singer. He has the technically superior voice, but Butler's version is more fitting to the character. Thank God they used Butlers in the movie!

As much as I love hearing the descant at the end of the Phantom song, I have to skip it. She's sharp! How does one go SHARP on such high notes??? Is her breath support too powerful? (Cringe.) That's my only criticism of this entire performance. Everything else was great.
