Thank you ,The video helped me to understand how to. Change filters and the fluid . FYI I used a small impact to loosen the filter canister,it came off easily.

Hey Jerry! Wanted to thank you for your video! We recently purchased a 2005 Minnie Winnie and I was having a heck of a time identifying the transmission! Your video sealed the deal! Again Many Thanks! God Bless!!!

Well I got it finished. Took me 8hrs to remove all spark plugs and install new coil packs. When I took out the plugs they were not torqued in much at all.. almost close to being loose but not. I installed with no anti seize and hand tightened them to what i felt good. It was defiantly more than what they were in at for sure. All plugs came out great. Plugs 2&3 were a bear since the trans dip stick is in the way. The plug wear was great, with wear that only made the gap bigger. I gapped checked new plug gap out of the box to be sure they were at the .054

Invest in a pair of some inexpensive ramps to give yourself more room to get under that RV easier and safer.

I figured since im replacing the radiator, I should do the transmission filter. They told me 19 quarts of transmission fluid and 31 of antifreeze with the rear heater. Guess I need to figure out if I want to keep it functional or not. I have a diesel heater to install, and trying to figure out if I want to move the bus seats around.

Tonight I only took all the ignition coils off. Saturday I will install the plugs and reassemble. Doing allot of reading and I think I will over torque the plugs to 25 ft lbs, dry. I'll let you know how it goes.
Been reading that going with Ford torque in low teens they back out and blow out plugs

I've put 9 qts. In mine, need to know; do you check it in park? Neutral? The book says motor running. The dip stick is the @$&/):& hard to reed any thing on it.

Make sure you see a level on the dipstick before you try to drive it. You're supposed to hold your foot on the brake and run it through each gear for a minute then back to park leave it in park while it's running and while it's warm. Make sure when you put the dipstick back in it is for sure seated all the way down before you pull it out again. If you're not seeing fluid on the dipstick when you put in the same amount that you took out then maybe the dipstick isn't seated all the way down and you're not getting correct reading.

Getting back to you,did as you said: ran it through all the gears, check it in park- PERFECT! Level is at the top of the cold mark. Let me run this by you, I'm hesitant (afraid) to change the plugs & coils because I hear so much about blowing plugs after you change them. My RV is approaching 60 K mi. Runs like a top. Had it for 4 yrs. now. Don't know if the plugs were change if ever. What's your thoughts on this?

I'm in the same predicament I'm scared to do it. Mine's at 70,000. Lots of conflicting of how much to torque it down. Whether do you use anti-seize or not. I'll be doing mine in the next few months. I've read a lot and come to the conclusion that it's not torqued down enough when you use Ford spec. I'm probably going to be torquing mine down to 20 ftlbs with anti-seize. I was reading in a Ford forum that somebody took a Ford 4 thread head and torqued down the spark plug to see when it would give, it was up to 85 lb before it stripped out. So my conclusion and a few of the other readers were that it can handle the torque it's just that when it gets loose if it gets loose it rattles and rips those four threads out. What year is your V10?

Mines a 2005 F450 maverick, chinook. I've listen to a few mechanics on u-tube about torqueing some say from 17-20 lbs. with anti- size. Makes me nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. LoL

Jerry, how do you know what transmission you have? I have a 2003 E450 6.8 V10 & am trying to order the filters, but do not know what type of transmission. I cannot find the cylinder shaped one! Please help! 🙏

I wanted to make sure so I went down to the local Ford dealership parts department and asked using my VIN number what I had.

You may have the 4r100 transmission, no drain plug on the pan internal filter. The 5r110w
has a drain plug, pan shape is different. There is an internal corase screen filter and a external fine particle canister filter. Later (F series) filters changed to internal on the 5r110w.
