    “Flight Euipment and ejection seat maintenance technicians.....they rank above finance and medical for people not to mess with. I worked ejection seats in the Marines. I tell everyone that you train, inspect, inspect, inspect and train some more.
    “This is the job where hopefully you never have to find out if you did it correctly”
    The aircraft maybe different but the concept is the same.

    In the United States military behind every "trigger puller" there are roughly 15-20 support personnel. The United States military is the greatest planet earth has ever seen because of one thing, logistics........

      We are also different from any other force on earth because we are built almost entirely around being an expeditionary force. We EXPECT to fight wars in other countries, and not be putting the majority of our combat power into defense of our own national territory. Yes we have defensive capability in the 50 states. But most of our military activity within the US is training and support for combat overseas. Being an expeditionary force, our logistical capabilities are the spine of our armed services, and a very flexible and robust spine it is. It is unmatched by any other nation. It isn't even a close comparison.

    Some of this gear was actually used in an ejection shortly after this video was produced.

    Could you upload a video about a gear from a helicopter Pilot. Like where they're showing how to refurbish the sph4?

      They have recently begun adding a smaller version of the M-4 in the seat kit as well as his or her service pistol.

    Going back home to his wife and kids. Such a macho statement. My daughter is a fighter pilot, and she’s single. I wonder to whom she’s going to be back to.

    I have to wonder how much of this equipment was transferred/lost/destroyed when we left Afghanistan. I hope we took back everything but the paint on the walls and the dust on the floor but something tells me that a lot got left behind.

      +Sam Albanese, most military personnel carry a weapon system, i.e. an M-9, M-16 or M-4 while deployed to Afghanistan. I actually shot and edited this video.

    • @arisl8016
      @arisl8016 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My AFSC is 1P071. Most OPS personnel are issued and M9 as opposed to an M-16
