Thank you for this, I have had chronic prostatitus since April, I’m now starting to engage my pelvic floor having learned to release. I hope these exercises help me 👍
Dr Bri you brought tears to my eyes with this. I’ve been struggling since my prostrate surgery 8 years ago. My question is since I no longer have a prostrate, and I know my urethra tube runs through where the tennis ball is being placed, is there any danger of hurting that tube? After sex, I can be in pain for hours. I use some advil, heat on my back and ice on the front to calm everything down. I’m very hopeful all this helps. None of my doctors seems to understand this pain, lvl 10 sometimes. I have IBS and all that together is not good.
I wish you physical and psychological healing, it must have been very hard . But you are never alone , help and support is always there and please keep hope . ❤
It’s hard but I’m still walking, biking and a lot of folks can’t come close to that my age. So I’ll just keep working at it. Thank you greatly for your kind words!
I'm so sorry you've been struggling with such severe pain. While I can't offer medical advice, your concerns are valid and deserve attention. Please consult with a urogynecologist or pelvic floor PT who can thoroughly evaluate your specific situation and provide safe, personalized treatment options. ~ Vibrant Support

If you look closely, I pulse (or pump) my hips forward a little extra every time I stand up in the squat exercise. It’s a little extra pulse of hip extension. Hope that helps!
This workout is **pelvic floor aware** meaning that specific cues are given for breathing and technique. This keeps the workout "pelvic floor friendly" for people with all sorts of pelvic floor issues. That being said, I can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for your needs. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and will tolerate exercises differently. Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. Talk to your local pelvic floor physical therapist for individualized medical advice!
What's happening when I go from like the floor and get up because I do like to do yoga I think shift around and then all the sudden you have to go because I don't seem to have a concept on to where I'm at like when I'm standing or sitting in a chair as far as urinating all the sudden it just releases
Sudden position changes can pressure your bladder, causing leaks. Pelvic floor exercises and seeing a pelvic floor PT can help manage this common issue. ~ Vibrant Support

Can these exercises also be helpful for post vasectomy pain?
