Hello everyone! In this video I'm doing a quick restoration on a 2014 Honda Accord! I explain a little on why you don't need power tools to remove oxidation for the restoration process. Now keep in mind, there's 2 primary steps to restoring headlights. Step 1 is removing the oxidation and clear coat, and step 2 is restoring the clarity. Many methods out there use tools for both steps, when you only need to be using them for the second step! That means you can remove the oxidation and clear coat by hand, and use your tools polishing and applying your sealants. I've been doing this process for some time now, and never had an issues with the method. If you don't believe me, try hand wet sanding with 400 grit sand paper to get to the bare lens, and you will see for yourself it won't take long!
