The customer explained he called another headlight restoration business, and they couldn't guarantee they could fix it. After doing more research he found us on Google, and loved our reviews. Although it was further out from our service area, he offered to pay more just to have us come out and do it.
I started with a 320 to thoroughly remove the old clear coat. I could tell after the first swipe the condition of the clear coat was pretty rough. If you swipe your sandpaper on the headlight, and it doesn't do anything at all, that tells you the clear coat is still in perfect condition. This is what I would call "Intact" clear coat. Luckily for me, it only appeared to be intact. After sanding with the 320, I moved up to the 400 to remove any deeper scratches I made with the 320. I then moved to the 600 to prep the lens for the UV Clear coat filler.
