I kinda wished they put more love into transformation.
I agree with this. The transformation seems are really fast and kinda lacking. Even some of the EXE Drive/Ultimates aren’t as cool as they have been in the past
Everything goes way fasters due to the action mechanics. No fancy 30 second animations as a result, unfortunately.
If it were turn based then sure.

The only issue i see is the transformation VII and VIIR had amazing animation
Moreover the main CPUs have further transformations as well (NEXT form)

I love if they add new Goddesses in the games, ones based on Stadia and Ouya would be cool, spoof on those platforms, maybe at some point tbh
You gotta love how the transformation went from long to short back to long but to short again but way shorter then usual 😅
the pendulum effect is real.
The exe drives and transformations feel a bit underwhelming compared to the other games in the series. Nice to have another Nep game, though, will buy it regardless. Now if only we can get another Senran Kagura or Valkyrie Drive sequel...
It makes sense since they had to make them shorter as to not mess with the timing of the combat. The longer animations were fine on a turn based RPG, but now that the game is more real time combat they needs to be faster.

Nep x Senran game has no transformation at all as the characters are already transformed.
But the original game, and the Megadimension Neptunia Vii games were the only ones that had actually animated transformations...
So I guess I need to grind like all hell and complete all the rebirth games now
So the ending once again depends of the nations' shares like in RB1&2. Instead of depends of specific actions you did like in RB3&MegaVII.
Sigh.. the sexiness has gone down a lot. Loved seeing Rom and Ram transforming in that Neptunia vii game

While the game is great with a more serious story and less fanservice, I really hoped Neptunia does a VII again. To this day that series entry was still unbeaten and it's still peak Neptunia.

I play the games in japanese but one thing I'm definitely happy about is that they changed Black Heart's Voice because I really didn't like the way they made her voice so unnaturally deep, which just made her sound bad. Especially in comparison to how good Noire's english voice is normally

However given the nature of the Neptunia franchise I wouldn't put it past them to do this as a way to parody the rushed nature of modern games these days.

I don't think she has, not even the Japanese compilations of the Exe Drives include her and the JP version has been out since April so someone would have found it already. Anri doesn't seem to have one either even tho she's also a boss at some point.
But I think Arfoire does have one? Not a 100% sure about that one tho.

yeah, i should have included both but its amassive pain to fill the exe bar in this game and its the same animation anyway

@@wedasantika6079 it is its own separate bar but it affects both transformatons and exe. if u transform the bar drains but it you can only transform when its full. use can exe as long as u have half a bar in normal more but it takes forever to fill it

Also does the filled bar carry over between battles?
@@wedasantika6079 yeah, it "slowly" drains when you transform. its acutaly pretty fast, maybe like 20 seconds at best
it does carry over between battles.

This game is UGLY. The worst of entire serie.
why the transformations so lame now
They needed to have a faster animation due to the faster combat system of the game. Otherwise they would have gotten annoying really fast.
