8:38 I like how you told him “way to get your rebound” because it’s good to let players know that just cuz you miss the lay-up doesn’t mean the play is over. 👍
Try to do this against taller players and try to imagine them in front of you when you’re alone to get an idea of speed and maybe how you should extend the ball based on your height.
bro i love the way how the guy with the black t-shirt kept on swearing anytime he missed while the black guy anytime he missed he will always keep on trying, 2 different kind of players, on top of that ,I'm pretty sure the black guy is a better player than the other one coz of how smooth his moves were,u can tell he practices a lot.
My daughters and son play and I want to develop more coordination and speed for my daughters they are going to 8th and 9th grade and are 5’6 and 5’7. I bought ladders and gonna start having them run to get ready for next season. Anything you guys recommend ?
You want to act as a shock absorber for yourself. When you land, first land on the ball of your foot, don't reach your tows down to the ground and "reach" for the floor, as that's how you roll an ankle badly if you come down on another player's foot. Next, when the ball of your foot makes contact with the ground, you want to have a bent knee/knees (depending on one foot or two foot landing), and as you contact the floor, allow your body to absorb downward with stability (control) versus trying the immediately "land" solid and fight against gravity. By allowing yourself to absorb the shock, much like a car does over bumps, it'' be much easier on your body. Great question.
Use the Mikan and Reverse Mikan drill. Once you're comfortable, start working on spins to better understand and "feel" how the ball reacts off the backboard to different angles and spin speeds. The more you practice, the better you'll be able to determine where and how hard to spin the ball off the glass!
I like how you keep the misses in this is great for hoppers mentally to know that they are going to miss when practicing this and that it's okay to miss

This was awesome... super helpful vid, thanks for putting it together!
It would be nice if you explained where the defenders would be for each of these moves.

If you watch and play basketball a lot you’ll know

Coach Ryan the best coach ever

@@rashanedehaney8859 Sounds like you performed well... keep going, make them regret it!
That slide by is one of my favorite ways to go into a layup. You can also lean on the defender and finish with a slightly high scoop layup
Nice video man💥✊🏿

How do you land in a way that keeps the knees healthy?

He was mad about the physics of the ball. Everybody knows that should of gone in but it didn't so he got mad. I don't blame him😂
Why they all not going off left leg with left hand ? Confused
the guy in black shirt needs anger management therapy! will probably blame his teammates during games! 😂
