Worthewaite & Witherston 1

This is the first video of my model railway layout. It was originally created for an October 2020 model rail event in the USA and has now been edited to remove references to that event, in that movie, that are no longer germane.

A superb video of your layout Allan. All that effort you have put in has produced great results.
I like Worthewaite station as it has that grand appearance that us enthusiasts love about many of our stations. Your use of the turntable is a good way to showcase your locomotives and it was nice to see one of my favourite locos "Alberta" featured elsewhere. I always remember this loco at Newcastle one February night in 1967 at Newcastle on a special as one of my most cherished steam memories. Well done on some great work on the layout and behind the camera. Cheers, Jeff.

Thank you for so generously commenting, Jeff. You will recall I had doubts about the proportions for Worthewaite when I built it but I’m happier now. There’s still detail work to be done but the general impression it gives suffices for the moment. I’m deeply envious of you seeing the real Alberta those years ago, not the present day Galatea disguised as Alberta.
