Way I see it, the more footage you have of all the failed attempts leading up to the successful trick, the more of a badass you are. I'm 38. Just started this week. Being old as dirt, I've learned a lot in my life. I don't think anything has been this hard. Can't even Ollie yet (God I've tried though) but I did do a fakie 180 kick turn coming rolling back off a ramp the other day. After I hit it on my 8th try or so, I understood why this sport/art is do rewarding.
I bet Tony is super happy and proud at the fact his son took on the same hobby that made his career. Some kids do the complete opposite of what their parents do because they don’t want to be like them. Riley seems like his dad is idol like he should be.
I lived and skated for a half a year in California. To me it seemed that the entire state was a skatepark. And Riley shows me what can be done. What a legend.
As one who has always had an interest in skate boarding but never the confidence to try it myself I have nothing but respect the guy like this who can look around where ever they are and see a skate park.. and have the skills to throw down and conquer each challenge!
