Sound quality - S6 Front camera quality - I will say S6 because of the wide angle. The iPhone looks like it provides more detail on areas such as the beard. Rear camera - Hard to tell honestly. The S6 has those nice, vivid, eye appealing colors. Auto focus - I feel as if the iPhone was faster in some cases by a little margin. @ 3:13, my first pick was the one on the right. I feel as it looked the best. @ 3:40, I picked the one on the left because the lighting is much better. @ 4:06, I give it to the left side because I feel as if the skin tone is more accurate than the "painted on" looking skin tone of the one on on the right. @ 4:55, I chose the left hand side. The colors are very eye popping and appealing. @ 5:29, I chose the one on the left. Same reason as stated above. I would continue to pick and choose, but I feel as if my review is lengthy enough. Couple things to consider. I'm being completely unbiased here and wrote this reply whole watching the video so everything you see is my first pick. I've been smart-phone shopping for a while, and I was deliberately waiting until the 6s came out for this comparison. Honestly, the fact that Apple still has mono audio recording is what has driven me to the Galaxy. I'm a musician, and recording gigs with stereo audio is a huge plus, regardless of the plethora of devices that I can connect to an iPhone. I've got my ipad for that. So it's official! The Verge will still say the iPhone 6s has the best camera on a smartphone. while it is great and I sometimes prefer its colors and white balance. Samsung has a better front camera, camera in low light, better video and much much better sound. The iPhone 6s sounds like it's recording from under water.

as an apple user, i do admit that the galaxy S6 has an amazing camera, much better than the iphone 6s. which i admire. but honestly, even that's not enough to make me switch phones. the iphone overall is the best phone to me, and i was a previous android user as well.
Have you used the recent ones because I honestly just switched from a galaxy s3 to a galaxy s6 edge + and the improvements are insane this phone seems so futuristic and detailed it has so many new options while the greatest updates Iphones do are a better camera 😩

The potential for both of these devices (back camera) is epic. I've done some fairly impressive projects with an iPhone 4s with the right lighting, and my 5c still holds up decently. I think anyone would be happy with either of these cameras no doubt.

I have to agree with this comment. In the past years I switched from iPhone 4 to the Galaxy s4 (which was great) then the s5 and since then I've run into problems with it with laggyness and camera slowing down after every update. Then 3 months ago I decided to get a brand new s6 edge and omg i loved the camera and how fast the phone was. Then during those 3 month i believe it had 3 updates. Since then the phone just lagged and the camera become horibbly slow at taking picture and focusing and quality just didn't seem as good as it was out of the box. Sorry to say but it's true. Not sure if it's just my luck or what.. But it happened with my s5 also.

I love my Edge+, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My only complaint is that the front camera looks pink indoors in lower light, and it makes things seem airbrushed (even with beauty turned all the way off). The back camera is absolutely flawless.

I like the format of this video - present two images, let people decide which they like, then reveal which is which. I'm sure after a while people recognize by how zoomed/wide an image appears which phone is which, but it still lets you go off your initial impressions first.

I am going for my new phone this week and it was between the iPhone 6s and Sony Xperia Z5. I've always had Xperias (currently have the original Z), but have been disappointed with the cameras on them. After watching your 6s vs Z5 comparison video I decided I would go with the 6s. Normally I would never consider Samsung for anything (other than hard drives and RAM for a computer) because I physically detest them as a brand in every respect... however, I can't argue with what this comparison clearly shows... and it runs Android so no having to bow down to the mighty Apple. I may have to adjust my prejudices... and quick!

I have to agree with this comment. In the past years I switched from iPhone 4 to the Galaxy s4 (which was great) then the s5 and since then I've run into problems with it with laggyness and camera slowing down after every update. Then 3 months ago I decided to get a brand new s6 edge and omg i loved the camera and how fast the phone was. Then during those 3 month i believe it had 3 updates. Since then the phone just lagged and the camera become horibbly slow at taking picture and focusing and quality just didn't seem as good as it was out of the box. Sorry to say but it's true. Not sure if it's just my luck or what.. But it happened with my s5 also.

I love my Edge+, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My only complaint is that the front camera looks pink indoors in lower light, and it makes things seem airbrushed (even with beauty turned all the way off). The back camera is absolutely flawless.

You are one honest reviewer! Unlike some other reviewers here. They are the type of reviewers to say the iphone 3g is better than the galaxy s8 camera.
I like the format of this video - present two images, let people decide which they like, then reveal which is which. I'm sure after a while people recognize by how zoomed/wide an image appears which phone is which, but it still lets you go off your initial impressions first.

Great comparison. Other than some excessive sharpening in bright light, I think the Galaxy S6 is the better camera in almost all of those shots. I'm curious if your S6 has the Sony or the Exynos sensor?
I am going for my new phone this week and it was between the iPhone 6s and Sony Xperia Z5. I've always had Xperias (currently have the original Z), but have been disappointed with the cameras on them. After watching your 6s vs Z5 comparison video I decided I would go with the 6s. Normally I would never consider Samsung for anything (other than hard drives and RAM for a computer) because I physically detest them as a brand in every respect... however, I can't argue with what this comparison clearly shows... and it runs Android so no having to bow down to the mighty Apple. I may have to adjust my prejudices... and quick!

Great Job .. But why iphone 6s front facing pics are so blurred ? Isnt it supposed to be 5 MP ? ... Also Can you also compare it with iPhone 5s ... I am saying this because iPhone 5s has HDR option in front facing camera which is missing in iPhone 6/6s where HDR is always on by default ... Due to this picture quality of front facing is less on iPhone 6/6s since it tries to HDR always and loses focus on the subject ... Whereas iPhone 5s it doesn't loses the focus on subject ... Please make a video to compare iPhone 5s/6s front facing camera ... Thanks
