Few days later I finally beat them and danced around the room until I saw her get up again. That was the most cruel experience of my life.

Yall can Cheese earlier with a greatsword with a R2 hold attack that Stabs, she'll be knocked down and you can charge it up And repeat, but the hard part is trying to get the charge attack on her
Just a little hint even though you probably know that already as a souls player, once you summon for help bosses also get increased hp so without summoning for help boss fight could take shorter since weapons does same damage but because bosses have lower hp boss would last shorter. It is best way if you want to distract friede in second phase while you deal with the big one but other than that yeah

Cant stand these fucked up bosses, fromsoft was smoking crack when they made these abilities, would've made more sense to send us a fucking blindfold to wear and remove while playing as a means of adjusting the difficulty. Lothric too, like I just watched him charge his move before teleporting so I dodge, and hes decided to charge a bit more just to fuck me up, so next time I see the charge attack into a teleport I delay my roll slightly and get instantly hit, fuck these stupid ass bosses

The only problem is you don't get Soul Dregs until Ringed City DLC so you would have to kill Twin Princes and Soul of Cinder which isn't the easiest thing to do if you're making a low SL build. At 125 you can pretty much destroy her any way you see fit.
You can get it before you fight her if you beat the ringed city 1st. You can get to the ringed city after beating soul of Cinder. The bonfire appears right next to the one before his bossfight a little behind it.
Friede's one of those I really don't like to fight by myself. Sometimes I end up summoning 2 dudes, and even that isn't enough, unless I get some guy that know what they're doing, which is few and far in between. Before this video, I can only survive to early phase 2, or die late phase 1. After this video I still died a few times at the very end of phase 3 when Gael's luck runs out and dies, but I eventually got 'er down. The only other boss I hate even more are the twin demons/demon prince. I'd summon everyone I can and still fail, every now and then I can get a crew to take them down.
I have some friends that can't beat her if their lives depended on it. What some people don't get is not everyone is "godlike" at these Soulsborne games. These games can be REALLY hard for some people. And that's just playing through the game with the normal enemies. We know the bosses are much more difficult and present "walls" if you will to low skilled players. I just wanted to help remove it. Happy I helped you out. This i know for me is the easiest way to take her down.
Sometimes summoning that many can just make things harder on yourself. Boss HP scales with phantoms, and with 3 people, the usually squishy Friede becomes a tank. It might not be too bad if you've got some ranged summons, but if all 3 of you are melee then you're going to have a much harder fight than if you were doing it solo.

@@Games4Days912 Okay, this is great, but I know another, easier way to cheese Friede. Only use this if you don't care about honor. First, you'll need to co-ordinate with at least 1 other player, but ideally 2 or 3; you'll all need to bring magic estus flasks and a specific weapon; the demon fists. Essentially, Friede is a player-like entity, with similar animations such as for backstabs, and as such, she can be launched into the air, or "juggled" using the Weapon Art + R2 combo for the Demon fist. As long as you have at least two players, and stay focused on Friede, and have enough FP, you can continuously juggle her into the air every time she stands up, (her recovery animation from being "juggled" allows you to start up the weapon art, and you can even get a few free hits before using the R2) rendering her attempts to attack you useless.
That affinity tech when she goes inviz is pretty cool, I actually didn't know that was so potent. Nice one! I'll probs use this because I still get nightmares whenever I fight her solo lmao
I can do phase 1-2 as no hit in my first time playing the game, but phase 3 always oneshot me, I don't know when I should attack her, I'm playing dex with Hollowslayer Greatsword

how is this cheese exactly ? you are just using dark magic against her! i don't know maybe it's just me but when i read "cheese" i expect a broken mechanic that you can abuse to easily win against a boss. your just using an over-powered dark magic build with + 10 weapons and staffs
Its a 125 build with 45 intelligence. And imo how easy this makes this bossfight can easily be considered cheese. You stay out of danger (most of the fight) with Gael there, and just blast her from a distance with the soul dregs. Makes this a laughably easy bossfight. That's why I titled it cheese. I know PLENTY of people that just can't beat her esp by themselves, this will allow them to not get stuck at that part in the game. I'm just trying to help people out bro. Thats all 🤣

I don't wanna spend another 100 hrs building up my FP. Just to beat her. There's gotta be a better way. With extra cheese on it.
ok i was mad at first i didnt go get the soul dregs from the second dlc and buy affinity. but i had crystal soul spear with candlestick sword in left hand and the sorcery rings with court sorcerer staff plus ten and i was getting around the same damage as you. 616 on friede and 927 on ariendel
There is another Similar Method for Pyromancers. And it is more accessible for those on non-NG and can't access the Ringed City for the Great Soul Dregs or the Murky Longstaff. - 40/40 for Intelligence and Faith (I had 60 int at the time) - +10 Pyromancy Flame RINGS: - Sage Ring - Fire Clutch Ring - Great Swamp Ring - Witch's Ring SPELLS: - Chaos Bed Vestiges Overall the Method is the same. But one would have to track and dodge the Invisible attacks the traditional way. Chaos Bed Vestiges do somewhat less damage than the Great Soul Dregs, but you don't need to charge a staff and it casts much quicker, and it only costs 5 FP more.

I cheesed with my katanas. Just parry the first fight, switch to twinblades for the second with red carthus. Then switch to katana back with thunder, and used the special attack to swing before she attacks me, she gets stuned you run do it again until you beat her. Took me 3 hours btw
I find if you can do 1st and 2nd phase fairly well. And you have like 7+ flask for 3rd phase, you should learn from Loreena's 'how to beat Friede' clip. It involve practice. Course. If you new to this fight, summon and cheese in order. 2nd phase require a sense of when to unload and when to dodge/escape both form of attack from enemy. Eventually. It more reward take on Friede on her own term. No cheese. No amp up to get a lucky defeat.

Great soul dregs makes the entire game a piece of cake, almost boring, except for a few bosses or enemies. In general, a balanced faith and intelligence build is probably the most straightforward way to beat everything. Everyone is extremely weak to some sorcery, pyro, or miracle.

If you've already defeated the Demon Prince and reached the Ringed City, Gael will no longer be available. This video suggests using the blindfold mask - which is dropped by the Moaning Knight in the Ringed City - and also summoning Gael. This suggests he is in NG+

Just go to Rosaria and use my infinite respec method to respec to a Mage and not use 1 of your 5. When you're done, switch back. Takes 2 mins to do it.

Kudos to you - this method is even better than Bleed. I always save Friede until the very end on account of the poor mechanics (the Scythe attack always striking no matter how high your defence) so at high level this will destroy her. Update: going into The Ringed City prior to Ashes of Ariandel causes Gael's summon sign to disappear, which means on NG you can't use the Blindfold Mask and summon Gael.

And thanks, just trying to help the community because I personally know people who still to this day can't beat her without serious summons, and even then it's a fight. What the hell, I'm literally a dark magic build even before coming here and I'm still getting whooped. This is my first run so I don't have the blindfold mask or great soul dregs. Her grab attack with the scythe is also one-shot for me, and so is most of the other attacks you took Ugh. No one can help me
I'm not sure if there's any obvious tell for the scythe grab attack, but if it's oneshotting you at full HP i'd recommend levelling up vigor more or using a ring like the life ring or ring of favor

Believe it or not a sharp infused bandit knife buffed with Carthus Rogue works very well against the demons and demon prince.

I beat her wombo combo w Gael on phase 3. She couldnt even let one attack out. Straight up Bleach
How & where did you summon the helper? Do you have to complete another quest line?
I find if you can do 1st and 2nd phase fairly well. And you have like 7+ flask for 3rd phase, you should learn from Loreena's 'how to beat Friede' clip. It involve practice. Course. If you new to this fight, summon and cheese in order. 2nd phase require a sense of when to unload and when to dodge/escape both form of attack from enemy. Eventually. It more reward take on Friede on her own term. No cheese. No amp up to get a lucky defeat.
i just killed her with my dex/faith build and i was suffering for 3 or 4 hours, beating her with my sorcerer will be my revenge and thanks for the help man, your videos are freaking AMAZING

Great soul dregs makes the entire game a piece of cake, almost boring, except for a few bosses or enemies. In general, a balanced faith and intelligence build is probably the most straightforward way to beat everything. Everyone is extremely weak to some sorcery, pyro, or miracle.
Why can't i summon anyone? Even the npcs, do i need a ps plus to summon?
You have to make sure you're embered to be able to summon. That should do the trick.

you can also use dhorny's gnawing for thephase 1 and 2 , for me it deals 855 damage

You have to be embered to be able to summon him. Tips for phase 3 keep your distance lol.
If you've already defeated the Demon Prince and reached the Ringed City, Gael will no longer be available. This video suggests using the blindfold mask - which is dropped by the Moaning Knight in the Ringed City - and also summoning Gael. This suggests he is in NG+

Just go to Rosaria and use my infinite respec method to respec to a Mage and not use 1 of your 5. When you're done, switch back. Takes 2 mins to do it.

Use the Infinite respec glitch. You can remake your build as many times as you want. Go see Rosaria. Problem solved. The video is on my channel if you don't know how.

Kudos to you - this method is even better than Bleed.
I always save Friede until the very end on account of the poor mechanics (the Scythe attack always striking no matter how high your defence) so at high level this will destroy her.
Update: going into The Ringed City prior to Ashes of Ariandel causes Gael's summon sign to disappear, which means on NG you can't use the Blindfold Mask and summon Gael.
I just love how affinity tracks her when she goes invisible lol. And the great soul dregs just melt her. And thanks, just trying to help the community because I personally know people who still to this day can't beat her without serious summons, and even then it's a fight. This is easy peasy lemon squeezy

One obvious issue. Im beating Friede to get to the ringed city.... Then again my own fault for doing it at lvl 18 with a +2 dagger.
You can get to the ringed city next to soul of cinders bon fire as well.
@@Games4Days912 that would require me to kill: pontiff, Aldrich, Yhorne and Prince with said dagger :P i basically played the early game normally and then dark hand slapped my way trough the dancer, oceiros and reposted the sht out of gundyr. Friede is my last leg of the Journey thus i came here for tips n whatnot

What the hell, I'm literally a dark magic build even before coming here and I'm still getting whooped. This is my first run so I don't have the blindfold mask or great soul dregs. Her grab attack with the scythe is also one-shot for me, and so is most of the other attacks you took

I'm not sure if there's any obvious tell for the scythe grab attack, but if it's oneshotting you at full HP i'd recommend levelling up vigor more or using a ring like the life ring or ring of favor
