Finally a major upgrade to classic after years. Rode the new classic and the good part is that it doesn’t feels like the old vibrator classic, thanks to the new engine.
Finally it all boils down to one aspect and that is.. How you personally prefer the road to get served to you.. A) Sitting on a bike...B) Sitting in a bike.
I was waiting for the launch and then I had more clear picture. I booked the Meteor. The reasons: 1) It comes with Alloys and Tubeless Tyres by default at no additional cost. 2) Meteor comes with Tripper Navigation on all variants. 3) Apart from Single Channel Variant, all other variants of Classic are costlier than Meteor Fireball.
Great selection brother, I have done more than 5000km in my meteor and most of that consists of long ride above 300km +, the ride quality makes it a great companion with those seating positions.
Make sure about the delivery date. I booked continental GT Mister Clean model on 31st December 2020 and I got Rocker Red version on 1st September 2021 after raising multiple complaints and escalations

Guys just test rode the classic, meteor actually gives you the better feel. That thump is gone 😞 Pay more to get tripper even on top classic model. In meteor you get both tripper as well as alloy wheels on all variants as standard. Meteor is VFM

Great video. Absolutely loved it. I, however, personally felt that the ride quality of Meteor was significantly better than classic. Classic is undoubtedly better when it comes to pillion comfort. Meteor trumps classic on every other aspect. I’ve ridden both and this is as per my understanding. I think everybody should test ride the bikes.
I own a meteor 350 fireball. today I went for new classic 350 ( chrome Bronz dual ABS varient) test ride I got difference 1.power- in new classic 350 compare to old classic 350 power is no damn good and responce is nice and gear ratio is nice, refinement make me wow...😍 but when compare to meteor I will say that new classic 350 power is linear and gradual where meteor power is like more sporty and speedy and more responsive 2.Ride- riding position in both is very different meteor is half cruiser where classic 350 upright position so I will say it's depends on person well I love it. While cornering I feel new classic 350 so..stable but one thing I feel that when we need to turn suddenly in new classic we need little hard work because... it's handle bar slightly heavier than old classic 350 and meteor too...while cornering it is stable, while u turn it's little bit hard. 3.Seat- new classic seat is damn good wow compare to old one so comfortable. 4.Lookwise - when compare to meteor I realised one thing wire position of new classic 350 is neatly done I mean so many wire is not visible neat and clean. 5.Quality- I feel both are good but in new classic 350 mirror is still cheap one. 6.Feature - for classic gear position indicator still not there 7.Sound - honestly new classic 350 have more thump than meteor 8.Brake- not much different ( dual ABS brake varient). 9.Price- honestly I will say that prices of low varient of new classic is high at least give dual ABS for all. New Classic 350 so refined and good performance ..nice improvement so I will say that ride position is mean key different not every person loves meteor riding position. so they can go for new classic 350🙂
Meteor started the legacy of this engine, plus we should encourage and welcome the new legacy.. Old classic had the vibe, but the new one has the engine which meteor has too.. So meteor is a king in it's own segment... The vibes are promising, looks promising and modern..
well CB350 is still the Segment best (yes it's not perfect) And it won't sell well due to less bigwing/showrooms/service centres meteor and classic wins in sales

It's trying to be retro with its long stroke engine and sound, and the way it performs and it's engine specs, but doesn't look quite retro with the neo retro touches. They could have either given a liquid cooled, high compression performance oriented engine and styled it neo retro, or could have styled it completely retro and kept the current engine they're offering. But at this point, they're swinging both sides
well even though cb is better i'am not fully satisfied with Honda India.... yeah it feels like Honda just made a RE competitor and it's not upto Honda Global Standards wish honda bring the cb150r,cb300r cbr250r,cbr150r...
The trick is to consider all the Meteor and Classic variants together as variants of the same motorcycle and then decide which one suits you best. Personally, my choice are the Helcyon Green Classic and the Stellar Blue Meteor......now to choose between these two.........right......that's difficult............Ek ke saath ek free milega kya???
Buy wjat you feel is best for you and best in your opinion, I rode the new Classic today and there is a significant difference between this one and the UCE Classic; very little vibration relative to the UCE one, better braking, though braking could be better; more comfortable handlebar grips; levers that let lesser pressure felt on the fingers; comfortable seat foam; better suspension. It could have had a more powerful headlight, but, I guess those who want one will go for an after market headlight anyway, same for the handlebar. Now the 500 in this form would be exceptional, technically they do have the 410/411 Himalayan Engine between the 350 and 650, but, if the 65p was a 750 the 500 would be a perfect fit in between the two. But given tue current offerings, it looks unlikely. But, think 350-500-750, with the Himalayan being a 500 instead of a 410/411. The Meteor is more quick, but, it needs smoother roads overall, which are mainly available on only some Highways. Do you all not feel that there is a void between the 350 and the 650, and, that nit every body needs a 650, but something more like a smoother 500 single?
The signals version gets costlier than the more premium all black model if we swap the spoke wheel for alloys as we have to buy the tubeless rubbers too.
@@PradyutChowdhury3DVFXartist agreed, but it does come in handy sometimes if you know how to use it and the advantage is that you don't have to put those clunky mobile holders on the handle.
Tripper isn't so useful in meteor as RE has given inbuilt usb cable port, instead RE should have given tachometer with the same size of the odometer like Thunderbird, it would have looked nice.
@@prithvisingh9053 I installed a mobile holder that i already had is same like bobo small one. with fast charging that is small gripper and not look bad on my bike.. perfect mobile holder using from last 3 years. and work like a charm..
Only problem with the meteor is its rear suspension . It is really stiff but it also helps to improve its handling and cornering ability with the 140 section rear tyre . I own supernova brown♥️.
Pricing is wrong? Chrome I enquired today is 2.61 in Hyd! Where as Meteor is 2.4 max. Also, surprisingly they are not providing tripper navigation in the high-end by default!!
I first booked classic and then changed my mind to go with meteor. Handling meteor is very impressive. It has digital console inside and has gear shift indicator, which I liked very much. Handling the bike in parking slot and traffic with pillon rider is also felt very smooth.
Bought meteor stellar custom black on 2 September it's amazing and one important thing to remember is meteor is unique and in my opinion more comfortable especially on highways . Apart from that just take a test drive of both bikes and choose the one suitable for you that's what I did and I am satisfied with it .And guys amazing skit love this segment .
While these two are more or less same, classic can be more versatile. Meteor is aggressive, fast and easy to control but it's cruiser (but has same ground clearance) and hence has certain limitations. If you go an rough patches occasionally, and highways are your playground then go and pic a meteor, but if you hit off road conditions more Classic can be a better option. But here I would like to tell you my personal experience, I took Meteor to Laddakh, and it was so easy, smooth and fun. But there is on point where Classic has no match, the feel, the look, the emotion.

Meteor best seller model fireball has alloy wheels, tubeless tyres as well as navigation for 1.92 ex and at the same price classic 350 gives you spoke wheels without navigation and getting those from showroom will cost you 15k atleast so its expensive then meteor*

Classic is emotional choice... Metor is practical choice. Practical Bcz of tubeless tyres and alloy wheel and dual disk brake in all range. If I were u...go with classic bcz of emotional. There are many practical bikes out there but there are few that we love without any reason.
based on tripper don't buy any of those. i will suggest go based on looks everything else is 99% same comfort is good in both.. but meteor have some mordan touch. I am owning Meteor and do lot of rides but tripper is useless. but for me meteor over classic any day..
I'm at the same Cross road , as of now scales tipping towards the classic 350, reason is this is something that you buying for the ride comfort and stability which is in favor of the 350 classic ,

Commenting after watching the video- Apunko aisa video aur maangta! 2 things I want to mention- 1. It's not the car/bike that gets you crowd, it's you and your content. 2. Both bikes are same, it's the buyer's mindset. For me it was the Meteor 350 (Pyar to Thunderbird se tha, par woh ditch kar gayi!)
Well, I don't think there's an answer to which motorcycle is the better out of the two. But there definitely is an answer to which motorcycle is the better out of the two for a particular individual, and that largely depends on their expectations and riding requirements. If you want something more versatile, the classic new gen is the way to go, as long as you are fine with spoke wheels and the tripper navigator being absent on most models. (Unpopular opinion but apart from the dark series, I don't like alloy wheels on any other model. They look sexy with the spokes) The classic also has a better exhaust note, but that's only to the fussy enthusiast. For the general population, that like royal Enfields but aren't necessarily fanboys, the difference is hardly noticeable. The meteor on the other hand is more task specific. It's better than the classic in every sense on the highways. It also is a more VFM proposition as it comes with alloys, dual channel abs and the tripper navigator in the base model itself Personal opinion, but almost all colours of the meteor look sexy while in the classic only a select few, such as the chrome series or the halycon black look nice. Also, meteor has fatter rear tyres if that's your thing. I think both models are good in their own ways
I would recommend neither.....I have n RE and have lost the trust on the after sales services and quality of parts....one of the major headache of owning an RE no matter how good the bike seems to be ...I would rather explore other brands.
I own a meteor from last December and have been very happy with the bike till date. But the new Classic looks really promising as per what Shumi's been bragging about from last 3-4 videos.🤣 This leads me to think of getting my bike replaced or not.. Honestly very confused rather being an owner of one.😄
Definitely Meteor over classic .. I test drove both and finally booked meteor .. the seat is more comfortable, for 5'6" like me .. and yeah that power when you want it .. and looks, yes in flesh, fireball meteor (esp. yellow) is way ahead of everything RE offers as variants in both these avatars ..this engine finds meteor as its home!
Meteor 350 for sure!!! As it is equipped with All basic features and they come as standard fittments and it is also Exported in large numbers to other countries as compared to classic!!!
My dad had an old glamour Fi then last year my brother bought an meteor fireball and this is a fast bike and the suspension upgrade felt dramatic.... It can easily do 100kmph and can easily cruise around +10kmph top speed might be higher but wouldn't recommend to push it that much.... (Or may be I'm a slow rider)
Classic is more expensive . Only the single channel one is less than meteor. Besides meteor comes with alloy( tubeless) as standard and also tripper as well. So from price point 🤔 meteor has upper hand🏍

Obviously meteor, bhai simple si baat hai aap itne paise lagaoge to ye bhi to chahoge ki aapko jyada se jyada features mile, Meteor me all alloy wheels and navigation, gear indicators back rest without any extra cost Wahi agr classic me jo digital display diya h wo calculator wali feeling deta hai also spoke wheels alag se alloy k liye 15000 extra dene padenge..
Thunderbird and now meteor are cheap attempt to look like harley davidson ( super meteor is an exception) but the classic holds the original look and looks upright also more comfortable

Very entertaining and informative at the same time. From what u said in the video, Looks like classic is the bike to buy. But as I like the seating postion of meteor, I will stick with meteor.
Haha this actually is a truth these days, at least in the NCR. Sales professionals at the RE showrooms know nothing about the bikes, unfortunately! I always end up explaining them instead about the bikes. Spot on @PowerDrift !

Pretty interesting seeing all the comments here leaning to the meteor. Oh well RE knew what it was doing but pretty sure choosing meteor over classic is not going to age very well. It’s called a classic for a stone cold factual reason that bikers will recognise through time.
Hi #PDArmy, the meteor has eager engine, larger fuel tank, tripper, and tubeless tires and alloys, lower seat, the only problem you point over the the classic is the foot peg position. Can this foot peg position be adjusted to make it a winner over the classic 350?
The meteor for sure.. its all worth your money..it just makes you love riding and gets you going.. whenever I ride it I just want to ride for hours and hours
Classic next gen is Dream bike,its like some one was reading my thoughts while i was riding my Bs6 classic after the launch of metore and made a bike out of it, RE after meteore RE had the perfect recipe for a Perfect bike and they just did it, took the design and charachter of BS6 classic and put it into meteore technology and let it grow , now you have is Best Bike
Customers are the scapegoats of power drift review. New classic have a mechanical knocking of piston during idling and it's felt everywhere, why haven't you mentioned that ??? Okay you might say your unit doesn't had one. Best of luck for buyers .

Classic Next gen does Almost everything Meteor can and a little more with off-road and harsh conditions! That too, all while being relatively cheaper! Choosing Classic is a No-Brainer!

Personally owning both Standard 350 which is almost same as classic ...and Meteor 350. Meteor 350 is my choice for seat comfort...😍

It is the meteor for me, looks better than the classic and has more speed. Speed and power solves everything.

Is it confirm that alloys rims get tubeless tire?? It is not necessary to put tubeless in alloy

Meteor gets tripper from the base variant, on classic it comes as an accessory.

Bought meteor stellar custom black on 2 September it's amazing and one important thing to remember is meteor is unique and in my opinion more comfortable especially on highways . Apart from that just take a test drive of both bikes and choose the one suitable for you that's what I did and I am satisfied with it .And guys amazing skit love this segment .

While these two are more or less same, classic can be more versatile. Meteor is aggressive, fast and easy to control but it's cruiser (but has same ground clearance) and hence has certain limitations. If you go an rough patches occasionally, and highways are your playground then go and pic a meteor, but if you hit off road conditions more Classic can be a better option. But here I would like to tell you my personal experience, I took Meteor to Laddakh, and it was so easy, smooth and fun.
But there is on point where Classic has no match, the feel, the look, the emotion.

Meteor best seller model fireball has alloy wheels, tubeless tyres as well as navigation for 1.92 ex and at the same price classic 350 gives you spoke wheels without navigation and getting those from showroom will cost you 15k atleast so its expensive then meteor*

Classic is emotional choice...
Metor is practical choice.
Practical Bcz of tubeless tyres and alloy wheel and dual disk brake in all range.
If I were u...go with classic bcz of emotional. There are many practical bikes out there but there are few that we love without any reason.
based on tripper don't buy any of those.
i will suggest go based on looks everything else is 99% same
comfort is good in both..
but meteor have some mordan touch.
I am owning Meteor and do lot of rides but tripper is useless.
but for me meteor over classic any day..

2 things I want to mention-
1. It's not the car/bike that gets you crowd, it's you and your content.
2. Both bikes are same, it's the buyer's mindset. For me it was the Meteor 350 (Pyar to Thunderbird se tha, par woh ditch kar gayi!)

Well, I don't think there's an answer to which motorcycle is the better out of the two. But there definitely is an answer to which motorcycle is the better out of the two for a particular individual, and that largely depends on their expectations and riding requirements.
If you want something more versatile, the classic new gen is the way to go, as long as you are fine with spoke wheels and the tripper navigator being absent on most models. (Unpopular opinion but apart from the dark series, I don't like alloy wheels on any other model. They look sexy with the spokes)
The classic also has a better exhaust note, but that's only to the fussy enthusiast. For the general population, that like royal Enfields but aren't necessarily fanboys, the difference is hardly noticeable.
The meteor on the other hand is more task specific. It's better than the classic in every sense on the highways. It also is a more VFM proposition as it comes with alloys, dual channel abs and the tripper navigator in the base model itself
Personal opinion, but almost all colours of the meteor look sexy while in the classic only a select few, such as the chrome series or the halycon black look nice.
Also, meteor has fatter rear tyres if that's your thing.
I think both models are good in their own ways
I would recommend neither.....I have n RE and have lost the trust on the after sales services and quality of parts....one of the major headache of owning an RE no matter how good the bike seems to be ...I would rather explore other brands.

I own a meteor from last December and have been very happy with the bike till date. But the new Classic looks really promising as per what Shumi's been bragging about from last 3-4 videos.🤣
This leads me to think of getting my bike replaced or not..

Definitely Meteor over classic .. I test drove both and finally booked meteor .. the seat is more comfortable, for 5'6" like me .. and yeah that power when you want it .. and looks, yes in flesh, fireball meteor (esp. yellow) is way ahead of everything RE offers as variants in both these avatars ..this engine finds meteor as its home!
Meteor 350 for sure!!! As it is equipped with All basic features and they come as standard fittments and it is also Exported in large numbers to other countries as compared to classic!!!

My dad had an old glamour Fi then last year my brother bought an meteor fireball and this is a fast bike and the suspension upgrade felt dramatic.... It can easily do 100kmph and can easily cruise around +10kmph top speed might be higher but wouldn't recommend to push it that much.... (Or may be I'm a slow rider)

For Daily + city + occasional Long - classic
Classic is more expensive . Only the single channel one is less than meteor. Besides meteor comes with alloy( tubeless) as standard and also tripper as well. So from price point 🤔 meteor has upper hand🏍

Thunderbird and now meteor are cheap attempt to look like harley davidson ( super meteor is an exception) but the classic holds the original look and looks upright also more comfortable

Haha this actually is a truth these days, at least in the NCR. Sales professionals at the RE showrooms know nothing about the bikes, unfortunately! I always end up explaining them instead about the bikes. Spot on @PowerDrift !

Pretty interesting seeing all the comments here leaning to the meteor. Oh well RE knew what it was doing but pretty sure choosing meteor over classic is not going to age very well. It’s called a classic for a stone cold factual reason that bikers will recognise through time.
Hi #PDArmy, the meteor has eager engine, larger fuel tank, tripper, and tubeless tires and alloys, lower seat, the only problem you point over the the classic is the foot peg position. Can this foot peg position be adjusted to make it a winner over the classic 350?
The meteor for sure.. its all worth your money..it just makes you love riding and gets you going.. whenever I ride it I just want to ride for hours and hours

Classic next gen is Dream bike,its like some one was reading my thoughts while i was riding my Bs6 classic after the launch of metore and made a bike out of it, RE after meteore RE had the perfect recipe for a Perfect bike and they just did it, took the design and charachter of BS6 classic and put it into meteore technology and let it grow , now you have is Best Bike

Customers are the scapegoats of power drift review. New classic have a mechanical knocking of piston during idling and it's felt everywhere, why haven't you mentioned that ??? Okay you might say your unit doesn't had one. Best of luck for buyers .

Classic Next gen does Almost everything Meteor can and a little more with off-road and harsh conditions! That too, all while being relatively cheaper! Choosing Classic is a No-Brainer!
