The research on gambling shows that people have a better time losing (more specifically a little win every few losses)than winning big. I believe the reasoning was something along the lines of, winning big is a pattern disruption and pattern disruption will subconsciously upset you. Although people are still happy they won, their enjoyment starts dwindling after a big win.
I really hate to see everyone use subconscious so much, I think people should be aware of basic things, not everything just going under the radar. Anyways, I agree but also believe it's because once people start winning they realize it's finally serving more of a monetary value than social, so they get desperate to keep their earning afloat
I was in town the weekend of twitchcon. The reason behind emo night was for an afterparty for When We Were Young music festival. The nights didn't end probably when they were there. It was way better than twitchcon.

It's always funny when people find out about the perks that big spenders at the casinos get. The grandmother of a close family friend was a big spender in Vegas. We live a few hours from Vegas and they'd send her a jet to pick her up from our small town airport just to fly her out and put her up in a suite for the weekend just so she could play. This was back in the 90's up until the 2010's when her age finally caught up to her and she couldn't make it out there anymore.

I’ve been looking forward to this episode since the show started; I was not disappointed! Miz talked A LOT but I never felt like it was “too much”. Kinda bummed there’s no bonus episode with him, and his podcast with Emiru got abandoned. Wouldn’t mind him replacing any of the other three when one isn’t available.
The 10 million shouldn’t include his kick deal. That 10 million net worth estimate was set in March at which point he hadn’t signed his deal. He also doesn’t get the 100 million all at once, it’s 50 million a year for the next two years.
