personally, i was not ever a fan of the look of the a330 except with these big engines and with the black outline around the cockpit. something about the cockpit windows and nose area of the plane always looked worse to me than the 767 or 777. i think the a340 suffered from this a little bit too, but for some reason not as much, and i always thought the larger a340s were pretty planes.
Nice footage, Sander. The A 350 wins, no contest. I was excited about the A330 and A340, but that was a looooong time ago. Compare the A 350 with the Dreamliner. A350 still wins. Currently the most beautiful airliner in the skies, is my opinion.
I believe the A330-900neo has two versions, one at 242t MTOW with a range of 6,500 nautical miles and one at 251t MTOW with a range of 7,200 nautical miles. The A350XWB-900 has a range of 7,900 nautical miles with the normal fuel tanks.
Much commonality with the engines despite a difference in thrusts they produced and the lengths of these birds 🐦. A marvel pieces of engineering to earning a living the quietest way...
the Azul pilot tried to make such a soft landing he almost ran out of airspeed right after he touched the back wheels of the mains and could hav easily banged the front down realy hard.
If you are more old school wants to return to the nostalgia days missing the 90’s and the 2000’s the A330neo is your answer. If you want to experience the future of flight, the A350 is your aircraft to go.

The A330’s aesthetic is unique among aircrafts; one of the most beautiful aircrafts ever build. The A350 wins in technology of course.
I always go back to the a330 for some reason. It’s simple and proportional as well. The a340 is also really beautiful.

The A330-Neo is by far the quietest widebody. You can barely hear its engines.
Definitely the A330-900NEO because it looks like a cross between the A350 and A330-300CEO.
