Although I'm a biased Evertonian, I think this is one of the best football songs I've ever heard. Whilst the subject matter is a farewell to Goodison. The theme of memory and loss is something many people feel this time of year.
Thanks Guy's....I'm Dave the GM at THE WINSLOW....Thank you for the using us un the lyrics..🙏 What a great tune and this will be on the TVS and blaring through our Speaker's....all through December....COYB 💙
I've been going to Goodison on and off for 25 years (from London originally, but have lived in Barcelona for 12 plus years) but will be going to Goodison for one last time on the 29th v Forest. I'll be in the Winslow for my first time. For the life of me I can't work out why I haven't been before. Looking forward to it.
I actually took my 6yr old daughter in, not son😢, in 2009 just for a quick visit to your loo...I'll never forget, she said..."Daddy, why are there punch holes in the toilet doors"? 😂😂😂💙💙💙
It's simply perfect, brings a tear 😢 to your eyes, beautiful lyrics so many happy memories. Evertonians are the greatest fans in the world, we are born not manufactured, we are one big family. COYB 💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I watched the interview with 2 of the band on Toffeetv and they summed up what what being a blue means. Fantastic lyrics. A classic has been created. Nice one guys.
My first game was in 1969 against Chelsea which we lost 0-2. But the second half the floodlights were on and it felt like I was on a movie set. What a experience it was. I was already a Evertonian before I went to my first game but I never missed many after that first game. Looking forward to the future. COYBs.
Brings back everything that the Blues mean to me... From the day that Dad took me back in 1966 to watching the reserves with him... Tears in abundance..
Awww... Love this.. 💙💙💙💙💙 I have shed a tear with this... My Dad taking me... I got to go into Goodison to say my goodbye...thanks to my nephew Chris. Spiritual home indeed... I will be there in spirit on the last day...
LFC fan here...great song. Used to watch LFC on the telly with my late father. Wasn't until years after he died that my mum told me dad was actually a Toffee !! Used to watch LFC with me "to be with his little girl". 💙🤍 ❤🤍
Very emotional... I'll miss our old lady.. 😢
Nice song i like Everton from a Sporting clube de Portugal fan 💚🇵🇹
Shivers, tears and immense pride. A song that manages that in us cant be wrong. For Everton Height. Forever tonight.
Love the crowde scenes - especially from the 80s. Can't imagine a world without Goodison Park...

Superb 💙 I was in the upper bullens that night against Bayern .. thought it was going to collapse
I was in the upper bullens too , it felt like the whole ground was gonna lift off into space
I was in the main stand and it literally bounced. The stadium shook that night.
I was in upper bullens with ged Lyon’s boss night my hair still stand up
Wow.
Blown away by that.
Superb stuff 👏 💙👌
Great tune!
Not to keen on the upbeat section, but the lament part had me in tears
Fabulous.... That is all ❤

😍😍😍
Isn’t that singer on CH5 Ellis?? Looks like sharpy..
It is. An interview with the guys on toffeetv covers music and acting.
And of course the religion that is Everton.
Utft
Great song but I don’t mean to be a pedant but it’s the Cup Winners Cup not the European Cup your father was telling you about.
Scrapping against Bournemouth sums that woodshed up.
🎉Remember where you lost the league🎉 and don't call yourself scouse...probably some hump from Milton Keynes
