This is honestly ridiculous that companies can release gamers in an unfinished state, then spend a year fixing it and it's still a mess. I honestly regret giving this game a chance.
There are still several glitches and bugs, such as weapon customizations resetting after closing and opening the game again, the delay when you crashes a car and the character is launched by the car, some clothes not having the option to change colors, etc.
Ive not had any of these issues and im at 80hours gameplay. about 70 hours of co-op

Why are u talking about gta definitive edition? This a whole new game with a budget of 100million dollars. Gta 5 came out 10 years ago with the same budget and its 100x better than this game
@@kkdc You're sucking rockstar balls on that one. Definitive ed. had more manpower and budget to develop it, and yet they still fail. GTA 5 however, was made with a combination on more than 10 companies, having 2x the budget vs SR Reboot (265 vs 100 mil) developed in 5 years with crunch, too. Besides, GTA 5 is developed by a company with decadws of experience. Also, he is comparing defective edition, not with GTA 5

Too much blame is put on devs these days for broken/unfinished games when it actually comes down to the Shareholder's and big bosses simply NOT giving them enough time to fix the issues because they want it out and making them money, Imo there needs to be a new rating system that determines if games are ready for release or not and CANNOT be released if it doesn't meat a certain criteria/level of "Ready".

That depends. This game seem like it never had the commitment and enough manpower in development.
I will say though, it isn't as simple as you make it. Games take way longer to make recently. Because progress made in computing power and simulation has worked counterproductively which is a shame. What I mean is because of this expectation of quality people have higher expectations in the small things which eats up development time, and as a consequence for that detail there's a much larger room for error.
Okay but all the blame can be put on them and the marketing team for responding to the criticism by mocking and insulting the actual fanbase.
They were so desperate to hit the “mainstream” and “appeal to everyone” that they completely abandoned both their original fanbases and had no one left.
This game was so bad it did something I genuinely thought was impossible, make the SR 1/2, and 3/4 fans actually respect each other and band together to shit on this game.
No you can definitely put blame on Volition, dont try defending this game and those that made, written and released it.
It's nice to see they are fixing it might do a new playthrough
I got it free from epic during Christmas. I had a BLAST. just bought all the dlc on sale and with coupons from epic

There's nothing to salvage, you would literally have to make a new game with new storyline & characters.

Although not perfect at least they fixed and improved the issues instead of abandoning the game and not fixing them, meanwhile it is a issue that games releasing now are filled with bugs and are unplayable whilst requiring top specs.

Alot of things in GTA 4 is made better than in GTA V whose budget and dev team is much bigger than SR. So such comparisons are not entirely correct.

You have to acknowledge that they did a good job adding things that, I at least, haven't seen in other games like grabbing the car's roof when going on top of it and the emote thing. If only they cared as much with delivering a mostly bug-free game at launch, it could've been a resounding success.

I’ll give them credit for trying to fix it but you can’t fix a bad story. They’d have to completely rewrite the game to get anything close to success.
While driving, you can quickly climb out to the roof of the car and fly away with a wing suit. Cool. I've made a lot of bug reports and suggestions since it came out on Steam. Glad to see the game isn't left in the dust they're trying to do things. Okay, story is not the best but we cannot do anything with that. Just hope that they do something about that and fix it someway to get it better. 👍

Those of you who have played this game I had a suggestion.
When i played this game I discovered that one of the buildings in the Downtown area had the Big Ben of London object on it so I was thinking and suggesting that the next Saints Row game could or should be set in London for gamers.

Nice video and I'm liking how the game is improving so far. You can also save the game after using cheats which is also another good thing too.
Edit: Scratch that folks; you still can't save the game after using dirty cheats which is really disappointing.
Disappointing? It's supposed to be an improvement. The new Saints Row HAS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CHEATING and if you try to cheat, your save data will not be readable.

It depends on the circumstances and cheating can be used offline and not in online sessions. Plus, using cheat codes can make things easier and less complicated for you. Fun even.
Who would even use cheats for this game (aside for fun), it's a pretty easy game.
I recently have been playing SR2 and lemme tell ya, it's much more challenging than the other Saints Rows.
@@bren2274 Fair enough. I played Saints Row 2, 3, and 4, but not Saints Row 1 or Saints Row Gat Out of Hell because I've never played either of those games before honestly.
I did watch gameplay of both of them and they were pretty promising at best. Although, the Saints Row games are good, but they're not exactly flawless or perfect by any means as they do have their share of flaws and cons of course; the graphics could've been better for Saints Row 2 and the PC version of Saints Row 2 was unfortunately a disaster, even when you use mods to try to fix the game.
The driving for cars, boats, and aircrafts isn't the best in SR2 either.
Saints Row 1 could've a bit better if it were released on other platforms other than Xbox 360 and no offense to anyone, but SR2 is overrated. Overrated, but awesome and worthy to play and Saints Row 1 deserves better as well.

I just wish they would add an option to where we can branch out on a business to become police officers and arrest people lol And they would make The vehicles take way more damage when crashing, And I'm wondering if the creator made this video with the most recent update I just got one today that was a decent size of well over 13 GB .

I’ve never cared for Saints Row but I do admit the graphics look better. However GTA 4 and San Andreas will forever be the GOAT in my eyes.
Saints Row 3 was way better, I still remember
