When you arrive to Pearson in winter, expect to walk through a lot of unheated passageways when you get off the plane. This can be particularly brutal at night time, early in the morning, and more so if you are arriving from warmer climates. If you left your motor vehicle at a long term inexpensive parking lot while you were kibitzing in the Caribbean, I hope you have a snow shovel. ALERT 10:49 That's the first chance for washrooms right there which is a good 3 min. after the time your bladder realized you needed one. Hehehehe.

That depends on where you are arriving from, how long your connection is, but typically, there would be no need.
Do people going direct to a connecting international flight have to go through passport control too?
