Chickens gotta be confused. The tiny little weasel-looking thing will eat you, but don't worry about the massive giants, they are just here to "share" your food.
The Moose were awesome to watch, extremely. fascinating and yes she was daring you to confront her, guess she fixed your bonnet ...lol 😅🤣😂... that made my day, regards from The Bahamas...happy weekend 😀
Moose was keeping me from going to the car, so I clapped and yelled, waved a broom... no response. Then I opened my door real quick and started barking like a mad dog, and boy did that moose run!🤣
Love your attitude towards nature. In NZ the Māori act as caretakers of the land as I have seen many other native peoples around the world do. Take care and be safe. Thanks for the videos, loved this one especially
Great experience! Thank you for sharing the moose with us! Sam did great protecting the ladies lol Enjoyed your chat during the ride along to town. Good to see all the Christmas trees! Great video!
Yes great pictures but they can destroy so much ! Now she got a taste she ill keep coming back for more, You might have to put electric fence up so they get a taste of that 👍, If you have remote start you could use the panic button ! Good to see you were all ready for the holidays :) Have a great afternoon"
Wow Sean that is crazy wildlife. Electric fence around your coop that's what we did when we had a 600 lb bear around our coop. We didn't see that bear no more from there on.
You didn't know your house was a stop for the progressive dinner! You got the Appetizers, they are going to the neighbors for dinner and across the street for dessert!
We had a yearly battle with moose in our garden...resorted to using a sling shot and golf balls to convince them to move along...a one iron in the rump worked...
Wow, she was a big girl!! How funny, Sean! Good idea to keep an eye out, wouldn't be good if she sneaked up on you over the chicken feeder she's enjoying :) I enjoyed all the pictures of the trees, I always miss mine when we take it down. 🎄🎄I hope you had a very Merry Christmas, stay warm up there!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Sean in Alaska 😮😊beautiful Moose 🫎 indeed Huge too now U have to Build a Stronger Fence 😅because they’re coming back for more Delicious 🤤 Snacks lovely 🥰 Chicken and big 🐓 Roosters I really enjoy watching you and Huge Moose 🫎 and the Chickens too 😝 until next time ❤❤❤❤❤wow back before I leave 😮😅the Truck 🛻 scare them away 😮be carful outside 😊ya ya get Out 😮😅wow It’s broken 😮 keep Alert 🚨 Moose 🫎 knows some good 😊 Food 🥘 Too much Moose 🫎 for U Sam and the pretty 🤩 Girls 😊
What about a double fence? Check Living Homestead Tradition and how they solved the deer going into their garden. They have a double 6’ fence six feet apart making a moat of 6’ where the chickens also run. It has to do with deer won’t jump if they can’t be sure of landing and there isn’t enough room to jump and jump again. Another thing you might look into, an alarm goes off to scare the moose away. Deep South Homestead had a motion detector that set off dogs barking. Just suggestions.
Is it common Practice to carry a roll of Insulation in your truck? Maybe for an emergency blanket of sorts if you were to break down or get stuck in in winter?
I never fire into the air. I do not feel comfortable doing something like that. I have been banging some old pots together and that seems to get them running, though.
I don't know if it would be any help at all at this point now that Moosie thinks that's a buffet in there, but in Newfoundland, my hubby's dad (and lots of other people too) string up old CDs around gardens and stuff to deter them. Something about the way the light hits them and reflects or something.
Hello Sean how about a simple 12 V fence I know a lot of people in Alaska do something like that to keep the animals out A little sad won’t hurt a big moose like that
Hi Sean…I have a question and I hope you don’t get offended, but what is all that stuff in your “yard”? Sorry, just curious! Have a feeling those moose are here to stay, unfortunately, unless you can moose-proof that coop!
The property is a work in progress. All the logs and wood have a use coming in the spring 😉 i have a plan for the returning moose that is in place now. She no longer gets free meals.
They say moose can smell food, human from far away. Tall, sturdy fence and hang Irish Spring bars around the place. They are just like bears. Once they know they can get to a food source, they Will return again. Rooster will not put up with it forever and will move forward, charge and just one stomp....
Um....I was told not to feed birds in Windsor where I used to live because bird food droppings attract rats...WELL u have some huge rats Sean! Haha!!! Poor chickens! I think u need that airhorn....
I had twin females walk thru 50 feet from my house awhile ago..they were just KIDS and stood at 6 feet tall at the shoulder so I know what u mean about them being huge!
I had twin females walk thru 50 feet from my house awhile ago..they were just KIDS and stood at 6 feet tall at the shoulder so I know what u mean about them being huge!
You need one of them disposable air horns
Lucky you, I always love Moose visitations.😀
I do as well!
Chickens gotta be confused. The tiny little weasel-looking thing will eat you, but don't worry about the massive giants, they are just here to "share" your food.
Right? Hahhahhahha
The Moose were awesome to watch, extremely.
fascinating and yes she was daring you
to confront her, guess she fixed your bonnet ...lol 😅🤣😂... that made my day, regards from The Bahamas...happy weekend 😀
She wins every argument! Lol
Sam is the man!! Lookin out for his ladies. Those moose are so beautiful. What an amazing video 😊
Moose are very majestic!
I wasn't expecting a video today and I really wasn't expecting any moose lol thanks for another great video Sean
I was not sure i would have one ready, but the moose decided to show up hahahaha.
Holy Cow Sean… it’s an all you can eat buffet at your place now… Lol!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Wow!! The adventures of Sean in Alaska 😊 I love it !!
HOWDY, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE MOOSE KIND! LOOKED LIKE SWEET AND SALTY WAS ALL THEY WANTED. SO NEAT!! ACE💌
It was pretty cool to watch lol
@SeanInAlaska I WAS GIFTED & WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOUR SUBSCRIBER AND YOU!
THANK YOU☆☆☆☆☆
💌 ACE💌
Amazing. Awesome video but scary as they are so unpredictable.
They really are, and they are so quiet too!
Tie some bright survey tape on the links on the fence. I do that, and it keeps them out of my back gardens and my front garden beds
Moose was keeping me from going to the car, so I clapped and yelled, waved a broom... no response. Then I opened my door real quick and started barking like a mad dog, and boy did that moose run!🤣
They will always run if a dog is involved! Lol
Love your attitude towards nature. In NZ the Māori act as caretakers of the land as I have seen many other native peoples around the world do. Take care and be safe. Thanks for the videos, loved this one especially
I believe we are at our best when we work WITH nature.
Great experience! Thank you for sharing the moose with us! Sam did great protecting the ladies lol Enjoyed your chat during the ride along to town. Good to see all the Christmas trees! Great video!
Thanks guys!
Wow thats amazing look at them. Moma is hungry. Sam is not happy at all.
He was a bit put out for sure lol
Yes great pictures but they can destroy so much ! I have used the remote start trick already, and it works hahhahahha.
Wow that one Moose is huge. They are beautiful animals I would be afraid of them also
She was like, look here bud... this is MY chicken feed! 🤣
Wow the remote start was a great idea. That was funny!
She has been showing up every evening still...but she has no feed now lol
@@SeanInAlaska Lol that's probably a good thing haha.
Ohh wow 😮 ya can’t make this stuff up! lol 😊 thanks for sharing
My life is NEVER boring hahahaha
Sean, Tory here from Pine Mountain Club. Amazing footage of the moose. Looks like the moose was about to take on the rooster.
They had a moment lol....rooster thought better of it hahaahaa
Ouch. Here we go again. They are big as ever too. I'm glad no chickens didn't get hurt. Good idea to fix the fence up. Keep safe and stay warm too.
Thanks Kevin!
The Moose Cowboy! Happy New Year! 👍😎🇨🇦 Love the Christmas trees!! 🎄
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
HappyHolidaysSean...
HoleySmokes, now that's sumpin!!! Off grid life is certainly an adventure MrO!!!
**Hi Brother Will and Family ❤😊
Happy New Year !!!
Awesome video ❤ someone said they won't hurt you, she still has her baby and she will attack!! Happy New Year 🎉🎉
Moose WILL come after a person! They are not predictable at all. Especially with a calf.
Time to juice that fence my friend.
I would, but i am moving the run in the spring. The garden and the run will both get juice though.
Hey Sean! Stand next to him! U will see just how big he is! I cant understand how herbivores can be huge!
I'll pass Linda! Hahahaaa.
Sean that moose is begging you to put him in the freezer. He's down on his knees🤣
Food for a year 🤔 Maybe that little one too.
Sean, Tory here from Pine Mountain Club. Amazing footage of the moose.
Poor chickens are like wtf. Lol. We have them sniffing around pens here in maine. 😂
Sean, very good to know the full story of the "chicken coop moose".
Fun with neighbors! ha ha ha I haven't seen many moose this winter. So far, only 1 moose has walked through the property.
I see them daily on my drive into town, and often here on the property.
Hahaha!!! I Love Her Sean!!!♥️. She only wants some Love and a little something to eat Sean! Awww 🥰 what a Darling! How can you get it to go away?
Wow Sean that is crazy wildlife. Electric fence around your coop that's what we did when we had a 600 lb bear around our coop. We didn't see that bear no more from there on.
That is the plan for spring for sure!

We had a yearly battle with moose in our garden...resorted to using a sling shot and golf balls to convince them to move along...a one iron in the rump worked...
That is a cool idea! Fun, no one gets hurt....and they get the message!
Hear what the MOOSE said:"I moose, i big you small, bird food is nom-nom! You go now, i eat now"
Hahahahahha, pretty much!
Thanks Fishy! Staying warm is not the challenge it was now that the woodstove is in! Christmas was wonderful! Happy New Year to you!
Wow, they are huge!
Yes they are!
Sean the moose wonder everywhere like deer hangs around my place.
Yup
They can jump over a 7' fence. lol. great footage brother.
8 seems to be the magic number lol
this video is insane!
I love where I live!
put a solar powerd fence charger on your coop✊ that will keep big critters out of your coop👍
This spring for sure!
Hi Sean in Alaska 😮😊beautiful

Sam and the pretty 🤩 Girls 😊
That is one brave rooster lol
Yes he is! Lol
Happy new year Sean!!!
To you as well Peter!
You need a metal pot and a large metal spoon to pound against the pan.
A cow bell may help or the alarm on the truck
The pot idea works best! I have been using it daily now.
Oh hello there!
What about a double fence? Check Living Homestead Tradition and how they solved the deer going into their garden. I may try Danny's idea! That is brilliant and cheap!
Hi Sean 👋
Hiya Liam!
It’s little scary too😊
Is it common Practice to carry a roll of Insulation in your truck? Maybe for an emergency blanket of sorts if you were to break down or get stuck in in winter?
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 yeah....I probably need to take that out huh? Lol...I never turn down free r30 hahahhahaha
My goats love chicken feed.
Goats love everything hahahhahaaha
You should try an airhorn, maybe it will work
That's a great idea!
Now you need a hot wire fence, chicken feed can be expensive for the everyday moose visit!😊
30 bucks a bag up here! Lol....
Moose in the coop was a hoot! Wondering why you keep a roll of itchy insulation on the back seat of your truck?
I picked tgat up from a friend and just have not taken it out yet lol...
You could be serving moose roast for a bit. Please invite me for dinner.
im surprised the rooster is not going nuts trying to attack the moose😂😂. my big buff rooster dang sure would 😂😂
He did once....the moose was having NONE of it lol....so he just acted tough from afar after that lol
Wow, Big and hungry
And beautiful!
No dogs - Moose for Pets!!
But… I’m still hungry! That stuff you got is pretty darn good, mister!
😂🤣😂🤣
Gonna have to buy you a saddle brother. I hope she already broken lol.
She would be fun to ride...until she wasn't. Hahahahaha
Lived with these guys…moose babies born in my yard….loved them. Made a place for salt that drew them to my house….Alaska is my kind of life.
Mine as well!
1st time stopping by Sean, enjoyed the video, ty. I have just 1 question please. Why do you not shoot into the air, just to scare them off?
I never fire into the air. I do not feel comfortable doing something like that. I have been banging some old pots together and that seems to get them running, though.
Panick button on the truck key fob Maybe?? just a thought
I have used the remote start and they take off running hahahahha
put a perimeter hot wire on t post with insolators all around your coop with a solar powerd fence charger. they get bit with that they wont be back 😂
Yup!
Oh my!🌹
I thought Sean had new pet lol. I heard the moose can be dangerous.
They can be extremely dangerous! Especially with a calf!
I don't know if it would be any help at all at this point now that Moosie thinks that's a buffet in there, but in Newfoundland, my hubby's dad (and lots of other people too) string up old CDs around gardens and stuff to deter them. Something about the way the light hits them and reflects or something.
Anything that catches the light works here i am told.
How about an airhorn to scare momma away?
That would probably work!
Very cool!
I agree!
Hi Sean
If you don't keep your truck keys in it, you could hit the panic button on your keyless fob next time to scare them off.
I guess I should have watched longer. 😂
Lol....
You see MOOSE… I see dinner 🤣
🤣😂😂🤣😂
Could you put your motorhome or snow blower or some other machine over there?
Not really feasible, I do have a fix of sorts in place now.
Merry Christmas and thank you to the person who gifted me a month's membership, I really appreciate it.
Hmm moose burgers 😊
LOTS of burger hahahhahah
Gonna get expensive feeding the moose all winter 😂😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 right? Hahhahahhhaa
Hello Sean how about a simple 12 V fence I know a lot of people in Alaska do something like that to keep the animals out A little sad won’t hurt a big moose like that
That is in the plans, they are wildlife safe too.
Moose burgers sure taste good. 😂
🤣😂🤣 yeah, but 1 thousand pounds of it? Lol
So you didn't know that you had big hoof in your chicken co-op.
I had no idea she was doing that until the day I saw her and recorded this hahahhahaha
Hilarious!😂
Sean can you put a hot wire!
Big Cow Moose
When is moose season. Today?
Dudette!!!🎉😂❤ whos out there human??
Shes nursing needs calories
You need to clean your chicken coop and spread some fresh straw!
Just did that! For the record, moose don't eat straw...or grass for that matter.
Shes gotta be hungry
I think an animal that big is always hungry lol
Moose burgers!!!!!! LOL
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
They say moose can smell food, human from far away. Tall, sturdy fence and hang Irish Spring bars around the place. They are just like bears. Once they know they can get to a food source, they Will return again. Rooster will not put up with it forever and will move forward, charge and just one stomp....
I see 2 freezers full
See, I told you to put up some "No Moose Trespassing" signs. That's what you get. 😊
😂🤣😂🤣😂
It's a comical video, you know?
Maybe Howl Like a Wolf? lol.....just kidding....Kinda
Next visit....I am trying it hahahahhahha
👍
👍
👍👍
