Seeing Robert Smith singing and crying for his deceased mother is heartbreaking. What else would you do if you loved your mom so much? Love Simon for coming closer to Robert to comfort him at the end of the song. This is more than a music and this is more than a band.
It's crazy how some people get mad because bands such as The cure release new music and people say "Well... I don't like their new music..I like their old music". If you ask me, I like their old and new!
This song proves that after nearly 40 years the cure are still going strong. They have never stopped. The Cure isn't on some nostalgia reunion tour to cash in. They have been continuously making beautiful music for us just like this. 2016 was an excellent year and I was lucky enough to catch a few shows, and each one was different.
And big thanks to whoever made this video. Just incredible that now in 2016 we have great fan made videos like this that are better than some pro-shot vids I have seen. Back 12-20 years ago we were lucky enough to get some shaky hand held vid from the balcony with horrible grainy footage and tin like sound. So BIG THANKS and keep up the good multi-cam vids.

They should definitely consider releasing a live album. 2016 tour was absolutely fantastic but I doubt if they had something like that in mind. Fingers crossed for the next tour to be followed by a live album. Thanks for all the multicam videos. Can you also indicate which day (or master video) the audio source belongs. Cheers

It's a song about loss and grief
The cover on the cd for this song was a 'face with tearful eye" inside a 'outstretched hand'. All covers are unique and interesting 👌 move the clock to 2002@ the sun is shining.
