Took my wife and kids, aged 21 and 18. My only regret was we were up on the balcony, quite a distance. Their only regret was they only really knew the singles, they have been working on that! We're all desperate for the next album and tour!
Me as well,I just got an older CD ,kiss me,kiss me,kiss me with alot of great songs on it for 4 dollars!!!!iam so into them lately I cannot Express how I feel about the band and Robert Smith!!🎸💜💜

So Real & So True. Excellent Music All Throughout His Career. The Cure Reigns Supreme. Wonderfully Emotional, Fun & Unique, Weird & Versatile, & So Loveable! I never Can Get Enough Of Him & Them!
When cure create songs,, it not just only a song with a greath chorus, it's also about the instruments and what they can create with the instruments. Therefore it is really music you listen too, not just hear.
If all you wanted was the recorded version, it's available everywhere... no one wants the live version to be like the original... what would be the point of that? That would essentially be one step away from a lip-syncing version.
I agree with everyone's comments. It was a very trying year and time for robert and simon( as well the whole band) then, robert personally and the whole 16 tour was bring them close to being up the 'hill's as robert said, and nothing then would ever be the same.
@@torokignyac9753 very easy. It was written about 1985 and my comment was about 1985 and the cure people then. Simon had recently left and sadness prevailed but they used this song and album to turn around things.
Something along the lines of: "Here´s the last one from The Head on the door. It´s like some 'Head on The Door Fest' again. Who the fuck writes these setlists?" then *points at Simon blaming him for the setlist*.
"And now it's one from The Head on the Door. It's like someone set up The Head on the Door fest......again. Who the Fuck writes these set lists?" Then points to Simon

We all need The Cure.

Roger played the synth accurate, perfect sound. The head on the door album 1985.
Fantastic album

I started listening to the Cure properly in 1985. First album I bought was "Exerpt, the Cure live" , second was "Head on the Door" .
1985. Feels like yesterday.

I just love this song. Robert's voice just kills it in the sense of anguish and panic this song conveys.

For years I thought it was “so I ‘treat’ myself, like everybody else”, which must be the ‘good-guy’ in me coming out!
Don't feel bad I always thought it "so I drink myself like everybody else" must be the alcoholic in me hahaha
