First! Love the videos. maybe a 'kali basics' video? :D the taipan looks great, I don't know much about 3v steel. I like the little mods, they make all the difference. looks wicked sharp and fast in hand. does it carry enough forward weight to feel slashy at all or does it wave like a wand?
I’m caught between the Tai Pan CPM-V3 version vs the VG-10 San mai. I don’t know much about steel types. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Check Midway USA, they usually have the number left in stock if they have 10 or less. I purchased mine from BladeHQ though, prices are the same there as Midway. Last time I checked I believe BladeHQ had 10 left in stock of the VG-10 San Mai version that I went with. Beautiful beautiful blades. Had to get two, gotta rock those dual blades 😎 lol. Hope you can grab one for yourself! Think they’re my new favorites in my collection

If u put a small bolt in both top holes on sheath you can adjust retention.

Got it, love it. Fits great in the hand. Bought second and put micarta handle on it. Harder wearing handle! Made nice leather sheath.
Can you post a video of the two side by side , I would really like to see the handle scale modification you have on the one with micarta.

You dont have to heat shit for sheath put two screws like in your tek loks in top two holes. U can tighten or losen retention.
