For your copy its just 3 percent but for low end pc it like 12-25% in my pc if i use macos widget it uses 17-18% cpu and some time gpu also why does it use gpu?

because its drawing it on your screen and refreshing each one of them. usually you can change the refresh rate if you edit the skin config

That's why Linux is better. All the customizations you need are integrated into the OS itself and also they are not eating system resources like crazy
