I had my surgery on 6/19/24. Very sore mostly the swelling and bruising in the pubic area are bothering me. Feels super tight. Walking does help. The constipation from pain meds is no joke take the colace. I am trying to keep positive. Thank you for putting this out as it is the most real accounting I have seen. Lots of protein to promote healing. I did not have a huge amount of drainage at set a timer to alternate Tylenol ibuprofen and gabapentin. Could not handle the narcotic. Planned my surgery on a Wednesday and return to work on Monday. Hope it will happen how I plan
omg. My surgery is on the 6-17-24 I am so scared lol. I had a Bariatric bypass Surgery last year and I lost 110 pounds in 1 year and 5 months. I really was not thinking on having this surgery but I can't with all the loose skin. I am always so scared of having pain lol, but I know everything would be ok. God First. Keep me on your prayers. I hope everything is ok with you after your surgery. Take Care.
Well, i did it lol. That black underwear is so tight. My back hurts if i stay seating down for a long time. My stomach area is healing good. Feels like burning but im 5 days after surgery now, i think is normal. I did it in the Tampa, Florida one. I can really recommend that office. Omg they took a lot. I can see the huge difference now. The cost? $12,285 but they work 3 areas of my stomach and pubic area.
@@jazmenloveDay 10 today. Still sore but better than day 1 lol. My stomach is very hard and swollen. I feel that someone is stretching my stomach from north to south hahah. I am not going to have surgery on my arms or thighs, i can’t handle pain haha.
Whew! Thanks for sharing your journey. I have been looking for a real uncut review! I think I will go back to cleansing my body because although i have a high pain tolerance, i dont have time to deal with pain. 😊❤ Best to you!!! Going watch your updated video.
Ty for sharing your journey. I too have entertained it for the last 6yrs and just frightened of the pain. Looking at you I stared to tear up. I’m much older and I guess I continue with this exercise..😂😂😂. Congrats to you baby girl. 👏🙌👏🙌
Hey, I just came across your channel and I just got my procedure last week with Sono Bello in Jacksonville. I definitely agree with you about the pain and walking helps. I hope you’re doing better and loving your results.
@@carlaheadley112 My experience while getting it done wasn’t too bad. I could feel some of the liposuction but not the rest. The recovery is a whole different story. Everyone has different pain thresholds but for me, it was rough.
This is long but hopefully helpful. I had 360 lipo and my arms done yesterday afternoon, not to be said as a scare tactic, only an honest opinion of my individual experience, but it was a 1/10 experience. My nurse was amazing as well as the other staff. However, my Dr. stereotypically had zero bedside manner. I'm allergic to nearly every pain class medication (he made me feel real bad about that, like a nuisance), so he gave me tramadol. NONE of the medications they gave me pre-op had any impact on me. I was fully awake and oriented during the procedure, felt everything, and not all the areas he worked on were numbed. I have an extremely high threshold for pain and a strong mental health state, but this was very painful. About halfway through the numbing process, I started crying and silently cried the rest of the time. Thank goodness i had an eye mask on to hide it, and the nurse gave me a stress ball to squeeze the crap out of. I was white knuckles, legs and head shaking from the pain. I didn't feel like I could advocate for myself with the dr to address the pain bc he'd already made comments about me "needing to stop tensing up bc he can't work." Rude, 0 empathy. I fully understand and realize this was an elective surgery, but patient care and comfort should still come 1st. I was draining, almost gushing and still am, especially from lower ab and arms, flying thru the pads. Be on the safe side and buy more than you think you'll need. As soon as I stood up from the table the nurse had to immediately change out my pads because I gushed thru them (we're talking soaked the compression garmet, fast draining on the floor and down my leg). I walked into the recovery room and gushed thru the dressings again. The nurse suggested i put my underwear on over the compression garment to help hold everything in, gushed thru those too. I was able to ring them out over the trash. I was in that room charging pads out for maybe 3 minutes. Finally stopped enough, but I left with a wet garment and clothes. Not good. The numbing wore off about 30 mins post procedure (not great as most ppl reported it taking hours). I immediately took extra strength Tylenol and had a protein smoothie. I had a terrible migraine, and by the time I got home, I could take another tramadol, 50mg. That and the Tylenol did nothing (Tylenol has never worked for my body). I was up walking, sitting, laying for hoooours because the pain was wild. I slept 3 hours, terrible for recovery. The feeling of your body being shredded, very accurate. My insides certainly felt like the laser melted more than my fat but actually burned my skin. The areas that weren't numb during the procedure were especially painful. I changed my pads every 45 mins, and they were soaked. Most times, I just stood over the potty pads and let my body free drain bc it was just so much. I saw no noticeable differences afterward (which i wasn't expecting to). My body was extremely swollen and bruised and painful to touch. I'm also a very strong-willed and independent person, you WILL need someone to assist you post-op. At least for a few hours. My support person stayed from appointment drop off until around midnight, 11 hours. They're coming to check on me later and assist with showering (they'll take care of garment cleaning while I wash up, as well as help restuff my dressings into the garment--thats very much a challenge when done solo. I also have 10 incisions in not the most comfortable/convenient locations. I would only recommend this to someone who can physically and mentally handle a lot of pain. If you're even the slightest bit uncomfortable for any reason, know your patient rights and advocate for yourself. The nurses and dr assigned to you are not the ones you have to go with. I should have requested a different surgeon based on my pre-op appointment experience but didn't because he was the top ranked plastic surgeon buy colleagues and patients in D.C. (he recently moved to Buffalo where I had my work done). I can't say I regret my experience and won't come to a reflective decision until 6 months out, but I wouldn't recommend anyone do it. This is your life, your journey, and your decision. Only do things like this for yourself. Take the time to think about it and educate yourself. I went the sonobello route because it was the least invasive. At this time, I would have rather risked getting put completely under for the procedure or have perhaps not done it at all if the risk of that was too great. I don't regret getting lipo, I just wish the experience of the process was different. Time to go change my pads again 🙃
I am so sorry for your experience you have had . As you have said the pain is definitely no joke . I hope you will be satisfied with your results in 6 months . Take care❤️

I just went for my consult last week. They weighed me, but didn't really mention a BMI. I am looking at the same procedures that Jaz did and I was quoted about $16k, and not covered by insurance. My understanding is that muscles aren't repaired, just fat and skin removal.
I hope you are doing well with your procedure. I am scheduled July 3,2024 for the upper, lower abs, waist, outer thighs and abex removal. Total Cost $17,231.21 at Tyson's Corner Mclean Va. When does the soreness finally go away? my sides and pubic area is VERY sore. and i have a lot of sweling down there. how long did it take for you to feel a change? i almost feel regret after i saw my pubic area :(
Hey ! Swelling is expected at this time . Wearing your garment at this time is extremely important. Drink lots of water and get lots of rest . You were better off going to a plastic surgeon in a hospital setting
That's why it's not good to get those "instant procedures" that aren't in a hospital setting
Do people expect after a surgery there will no pain it is nothing free
