Some great looking slabs - table tops for the coffee shop? Sofa coffee table, kitchen counters...oh, the list goes on - beautiful log brother!

Oh man, I hadn’t even thought about tables for the coffee shop! I may do that! That’s a great idea!

Are you going to let the mill guys know about the insulator? Nice slabs Lucas. Have you decided what you are going to make out of them? Take care and stay safe.

I haven’t decided what we will make yet. I sent this video to the guys at the log yard. 👍

Nice looking slabs. Can’t wait to see what you have planned. You should hang all the treasures on the saw mill shed with some info about it. Good stuff. God bless

Yes, I definitely plan to keep the “treasures”. I find it so interesting to see bits of history…

Good video, glad to see how that log finished out 👍 We found a pair of binoculars buried in a tree one time. Someone apparently set them down in a lower crotch and the tree swallowed it up over time.

Awesome stuff, Lucas. We find all kinds of stuff in the wood. My friend has a wall of stuff from tree service wood

Caden loved this! He was so excited. I don’t want to ruin blades but it was fun!

Entertaining as always! Keep it up Lucas. A lot of history in these old hills.

Can you tell me what you torqued your blade to on the SM26 you had before? Thanks

It didn’t have a nut to use an actual torque wrench so I would just turn it until it was snug and then about two to two and a half additional turns. That’s the instructions Woodland Mills uses. If your cuts get wavy and your blade isn’t dull then you should go a little tighter…. Hope this helps.
