@DavidSantos-ix1hu Basically the Prince created a body for his spirit as he so desperately wanted to travel the world, but his body was worthless for this purpose, they still needed the Prince's body to combine with his spirit, as it was just pure Magla and Louis exploited that.
Basically, our world is the past and the discovery of magic/magla led to the fantasy world of the future. The various tribes are humans who evolved and adapted to said magic/magla, changing them. An earlier dungeon foreshadowed this too. The Elda being the "purest" human and the King just being a weak man, in the eyes of the Elda tribe, who got with their queen who seemingly set things into motion is a nice touch too. Also, the church being founded as a check and balance to magic usage makes a lot of sense as well.
I really did find it strange multiple times at the beginning your character is given the option to ask the fairiy anytime what is going on or what mission exactly they are on, not like its for the player to get info but more like theres a massive gap in the characters memeories about his life and purpose. Nownit makes sense.

Tournament to rule their home? Happens in both games. The climax max of the game featuring a fusion of main characters: both games DDS was Hahino’s first SMT project too
It's not the ending, the game still has like 10 hours (at least) of more stuff to do past this point. or are you asking if theyre gonna upload the good ending?
