In addition to being my favorite TV show, it also has the greatest ending to anything I've ever seen. The final ten seconds the audience spends with Ray are unforgettable.
Mr Inbetween was an absolute masterpiece. We have binged watched it and it never gets boring. This to us is the best Australian series ever to be written. We truly wish Nash and Scott would consider doing another series for us cult followers. Thank you for an excellent show. 🇦🇺
I finished watching it just a few days ago. Riveting from start to finish. Breaking bad was my previous favourite criminal series but this just hits the soul better. Criminally hidden gem.
Best supporting actors Nicholas Cassim as Bruce his portrayal of a motor neurones sufferer is top notch and educational. Matt Noble as Dave The staunch mate after Ray let him go to be at his child's birth. And special credits to Miss Chika Yasumura on her acting debut. Your a good girl Britt.
Most def one of the best shows I have ever watched. I randomly watched like a 5 or 10 second clip from YT of the first episode and was like holy shit that was brutal. I ended up watching the whole series in two or three days and was left speechless by everything. A slice of life series about the interesting life of an Australian criminal mr fix it guy where I honestly don`t know what parts are best because everything is so good. The acting, the dialogue, the characters, dark humor, action etc everything is top notch. The setting of Australia is also an interesting one as I have seen much media from there before.
Thanks for this and well done for spoiler alerts. Binged this over a few days and highly recommend it. Ray is an enigma, at times a family orientated good guy and other times a terrifying, violent individual. Scott Ryan plays him so well and that weird smile can either be warm or chilling depending on the situation. Respect to Scott as writer and performer. He seems to have said what he wanted about Ray and his lifestyle without having to defer to overly strong producers. Beautifully written supporting characters and well cast. Can we call it a sleeper hit after 3 series? In this overcrowded, streaming market, it can be difficult to find something you really enjoy ( algorithms be damned ). I'm glad this was recommended by my brother and I will go on to recommend it to others.
I had only heard about this shoe recently and thought I'd give it a go. Fantastic show, I was enjoying each episode so much that I watched all three seasons over one week. The last series I watched like this was Fargo.
I've seen the whole series and I think its one of the best shows I've seen on Australian television. You guys need to make another season or two.rays a fkn legend ,
@@jasonking7994 I was only joking cos Ray says it all the time lol. But idk if you’re response has something to do with the show & it’s went right over my head?

This show takes the "Experts" to school on how to make a TV show. Realistic, funny, violent, sad, the whole package. U will definitely binge watch this show and wish to hell they had made more.
Just finished all 3 seasons in a day and a half on Hulu :) Couldn't stop watching. Just a great show with a great story and acting. I wish there were 10 more seasons as it would never get old for me.
I've just watched a lot of scenes on TH-cam and I find this is my kind of series. IF you have not seen it, I strongly recommend Justified. It feels much like this one.
Saw some clips of this tv series on TH-cam few days ago. Got addicted quickly and started to watch full episodes. This tv series is a breath of fresh air vs the crap that American Hollywood is puking at us. Love the aussie accent, great actors, excellent flow, not too boring, not too overwhelming, just perfect. I give a 9,5/10
Hey Roze, you've done a great job explaining Mr Inbetween. The only part I disagree with is when you say he even goes as far as to join an anger management circle to help himself, I don't think he joins out of his own accord, I think it's part of the legal rehabilitation system. Mr Inbetween is my no 1 favorite show. Anyone who hasn't seen it yet and enjoyed The Sopranos, it's a must watch.
This show is fantastic and deserves to be included in the pantheon of truly great TV shows: Sons of Anarchy, Justified, the Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Bosch, NYPD Blue and Mr. Inbetween. The acting makes the characters become real people you care for and the stories are amazing, more amazing for being so short. Lets get some dimmies!
@@Donna-6516 Dimmies are a fast-food staple in Australia. They are basically Chinese dumplings with a minced pork and herb filling. Get them at your local Fish & Chip shop or non-franchised Hamburger joint. They are usually eaten with a dash of soy sauce. YUMMY!

I loved the show. Great stories, characters and actors. I always wonder if Ray really left the hitman life after watching the last season as a taxi driver with two young men in the woods????????
i binge the whole 3 seasons this week. im loving the show. FX needs to upload clips of Ray highlights . i got hooked because i saw a tiktok clip of Ray rescuing Maddy from child predator. 1 episode in and im hooked
beautifully written, directed and acted. The relationship between Ray and his brother is full of heart and pathos. Ray is fantastic father to Brittney and their relationship in the 3rd season is so very real. Best show ever.
Love this show. Just one thing though, Ray doesn't join the anger management group to help himself, it''s court ordered after his assault on the guy that knocked bumped into his daughter and the subsequent disrespect he was shown. Ray believes in consequences and in his mind, the guys that confronted him deserved consequences. His contempt and disgust for the other members of the group counselling that are wife child beaters is palpable. The fact that the other members of the group are almost coddled by the facilitator whilst he's singled out for what he sees as justified action grates on him as well.
Brilliant Show.. Ive just finished watching all the season again for the second time and it was just as good as the first time.. Bravo Bravo Scott, such a masterpiece :)
This sounds great. I'll check it out. In return for your recommendation, I offer you 'In My Father's Den'. It's a film made in New Zealand and it's not very well known. I think you'll like it a lot. It's a slow build, but as it gets going things come together and by the end there's an explosion of emotion that's been kept inside for too long. See what you think.

Fantastic show, balances the drama, comedy and violence pretty damn well. Excellent performances all round from the whole cast. But this is definitely writer and creator and lead star Scott Ryan's show. Taking the lead from how UK shows do it rather then American shows, it ends at a nice 26 episode show over 3 seasons. The sad thing if this was set in America, with all American cast and was on HBO. I think it would have probably been a far bigger hit and won a few Emmy's. He doesn't choose to join an anger management circle in order to help himself. He was ordered to attend by the court, for assaulting matey that walked into his daughter.
Terribly underrated show. This show could have went on for years and was just as great as the first episode. FX should have thrown some serious money at him to keep it going.
By far the best Australian show on TV. The episode where the little blonde girl gets snatched, and the way he dispenses his own brand of justice, is for me, a stand-alone classic payback story.
