- Parking a boat can be intimidating... parking a 3 MILLION dollar Sport fishing boat can be VERY intimidating! Luckily, I and many other captains, all over the world, love what we do and enjoy each and every challenge!

I'd be up for the challenge of operating that boat. It can obviously handle much rougher conditions than my 21' Lund. But then again, you'd never get it into the Canadian shield lakes I like to fish during the summer. Each is suited to its use and environment. Happy Boating, Rob.

Sweet, used to live on the south shore of Long Island New York. When you pull up and figure the tide, wind and angles to the dock, you need to be a geometry major. Nice job hitting the spot, many good wishes to you your Wife and the new baby.

Definitely want to see more boat stuff! It would be cool to see a video of a fishing trip beginning to end. Getting bait, ice, fuel, pre-startup checks all the way through how you do a float plan. It would also be interesting to see how your deck hand gets all the fishing gear ready and the type of gear you use to target certain species. I love and appreciate your videos, and you and Sarah sharing your lives with us all. Thank you, and God bless.

You should do a "day in the life" of captains video. I think that a lot of people would enjoy seeing what being a captain entails. And did you go to college to be a captain ? I just found your channel and wish I found it sooner, love what your doing!

Well, when we are parking our sailboat into a marina, we got all fenders out already and each side is covered by people so we dont bumb into other boats. classic scout sailing right there :D

In particular ones that you go fishing, crabbing or cooking :) It gives me great ideas on how to approach a dish and your videos sometimes makes me feel like im actually there watching you guys fish and hanging out. Nice job, it helps that you payed attention to the wind and currents, falling or slack tilde and the wind was straight at your bow once you turned to align to your slip. Those are perfect conditions

Hell of a Captain
Great job! I have to put our 50 ft trawler in a very tight slip. Single engine with a bow thruster. Twin engines with a lot of power like you have in that boat would sure make it easier!
DMFD are the best for hunting, fishing and cooking vid but I wish they did more of them!! Please 🤓

Thanks so much for the video. I would like to see more videos explaining how you actual put the boat in a slip. And maybe showing us how you control the boat (which engine is put on reverse and which one is shifted forward, etc) and how o you compensate for the wind.
Not too bad. Throw in a 30 knot wind and a screaming tide then that's when the fun starts!

There are some that cost a lot more and some that cost a lot less... Custom Sportfishing boats are incredibly expensive to own and maintain!!!!

deermeatfordinner I don't mind the hunting videos. I just like the videos revolving around the water more because you can pretty much hunt anywhere but I've only seen the ocean in person twice in my 31 years.

You make it look so easy. I remember when I got to park my friends 58 ft yacht, I spent at least 30 minutes trying to not hit the post. not the best at parking boats 😪 but yeah you should do more on the water videos considering summer is almost here and hunting season is usually closing in by now
