As a hobbyist photographer my guess would be they used tilt shift to make the figurines look small. It's a pretty common way in still
photography to make real life scenes look like miniatures or dioramas.
It's a bit tricky to do in video because you need to actually, well, tilt and shift the objective during exposure to get the effect by optical (as opposed to post-production) means, but in this case slow frame rate and stuttering was kind of even desirable so it could have worked out.
Love this - you could be totally right! I hadn't thought of a tilt shift!

personally, i REALLY like the OMV , and since your whole schtick is "filmmaker reacts", it OBVIOUSLY makes more sense for you to do the OMV. i only mention it as a "brace yourself" 😂

Haha! I bet! I get the "react to this live video" a lot too, but that's not my field of expertise at all, neither would be their one-take vocal recordings. I love watching them though, but I don't record reactions to them because that would be pointless for me :P Maybe on Twitch some time.

It's a great video for a fabulous song. And yes, there's also the 1 take of this song, but other than some little 4 color effects at the beginning it's not as interesting for you.
Yeah I've seen it before, Tatiana is an awesome (in the literal sense of the word) singer. Just terrific. Couldn't believe my ears when I heard her live, too. Just beyond most singers!

Here's my recommendation. Not Jinjer. Not even metal. Its electroswing. A genre I didn't even know existed until a couple months ago and I've been slightly obsessed.
This video is creepy too, but in a more fun and innocent way. It has a lot of creative choreography filmed in a herky-jerky style that also seems to me to be simultaneously sped up and in real time.
