I have a 2017 pilot touring, totally agree with the push bottom gear selector, once your used to it i feel like its supperior than the standard gear lever. Most car reviewers just has the car for a moment so its different when your owning the car.
I’ve just bought the 2021 RDX with the advanced package and the heads up display and adaptive dampers are terrific features. I also think the infotainment access is too touchy and requires a learning curve.
No mention of the "sound quality" of the audio system, the highest touted feature of this car - I know there have been many complaints about the touch-pad interface - most would prefer a touch-screen...I would, too - but if the audio quality is as good as many have opined, I could live with the interface for the great sound - it's hard to find a car at this price point with a high-level, outstanding sound system - sounds like your not really an audiophile to appreciate/know it anyway
chad haire there was though... it’s one of the best sound systems out there in the price point. tuned by a grammy winner and has 4 ceiling speakers for a 3d surround experience.
@@chadhaire1711 I think you failed to discuss engine noise and distinguish if it was all real or partially artificial. As for audio, this is a major component of any vehicle even more so than the button that will activate such music which is temporary.
I test drove one of these recently. Fantastic to drive, great looking inside and out, but seriously let down by the infotainment usability especially while driving. The steering wheel controls were also far too complex compared to most cars.
Can anyone tell me how does the SH-AWD do on snow, winter weather? There seems to be no video of it. There is one but its a controlled circuit, packed snow. Does it do well like how a Subaru does? Thanks!!!!
nice review - very well done. however the push button shifter may be your preference, but i do not think it is fair to say it is superior in every way. it just so happens that it is not my preference, and i am glad other cars offer other options. i say to each his own. thanks again for the video. cheers
The fuel effiency is not as good as those hybrid models, but rdx has 272hp and probably the best awd system in the segmant so I think the mpg is reasonable. Actually, shawd is the reason why the mpg is not good, if this car doesn't have the 10speed transmission, the fuel effiency could be worse. Hopefully you can understand my english.
@@futbol1972Highlander is a practical choice, for people who have family, it's really nice. I'm just a student so to me, rdx is better . If you are looking for a 3row suv, I would strongly recommand you to have a look of the mazda cx9, or wait for the acura mdx😁
My 2008 Tacoma 4.0 5 speed auto 4x4 gets 19 mpg on reg vs premium with the Acura. Honda has never figured out how to make efficient power like GM and Toyota. Consumer Reports is complaining about that shifter (again)? Are they high or something? Love the engine

unless there is something out of the ordinary about the sound system there is no reason to take up time in the video discussing it.
